  1. I agree. I dont buy the excuse that Genshin was meant to be played only for a few minutes as government mandated when Honkai makes you sit for hours especially with the Abyss and Elysian Realm. 3.0 will be the final straw for most players, including me. I will play Sumeru for the story but once I'm done building my characters, I'm going f2p and login every once in a while

    While in lockdown they release new trailer for star rail, and release footage of new game zero zero something i forgot the name

    As for the game itself: Much of their lack of ways for you to progress is generally why most of the things I'd been hoping for wouldn't be tied to just rng. When you can spend a month on artifacts and get literally nothing worthwhile, it disillusions you pretty quickly and you have to try and make a team of characters work with some subpar stuff. But even when you have nothing none of the content really rewards you for the amount of effort you put in since all the rewards seem to be standardized to a couple of primogems here, a few more there, and some materials on the side. Oh lets not forget about the xp books that you've been letting stack up since you have entire teams of people at 80/90 with a couple 81/90s and two full level 90s.

    The lack of anything substantial being gotten makes it in general less interesting to do much of anything. There's no long term goals to invest our time into, and the one power bump (just about) every character comes with you're not allowed to work on boosting unless its with the almighty power of Swipe. Thus why I was saying it would be nice to be allowed to have a challenge mode where you can take a preset team in to unlock constellations on a character- they can make it as hard as feasibly possible to justify that discrepancy since it would play off the mechanics and not investment/luck of the artifact roll. Or maybe if there was an equipment slot on a character that had something that wasn't just a gamble and you could work on over time rather than just praying to rngesus.

    Even if when we do get ourselves all built up, then there's only really occasionally the Abyss. Now, I haven't bothered with it every time, and sometimes I don't even bother with floor 12 when I do, but its fully feasible to get 33/36 stars for 550/600 primos every two weeks. If floor 12 is too much or you just cannot feel bothered, hey I get it, then that's still 27/36 stars for 450/600. Even if you miss a couple stars on floor 11 that's only 50 primogems- not even a third of a single pull. Abyss' rewards feel like they are geared towards free to play, but the challenge presented acts more like its supposed to be the closest thing to an end game, which it isn't. Especially cause if you get the welkin moon ($5 for 30 days) for 90 primogems a day and do your commissions daily that's 150 primogems right there. You know, 1/4 of the entire rewards of the four bi-weekly Abyss floors… in a day. Even as free to play, commissions are 60, so ten days to get that is still less than two weeks.

    Point is we need something to work towards other than pulling on the banner and hoping for a constellation on our favorite characters, especially considering how much of a gamble it is. We also need something else to work on our characters, to improve them and feel like we're progressing to some degree outside of rolling them bones on our artifacts that'll probably just get 25% hp on a dps piece.

Who knows when it'll happen but as far as endgame, they clearly know nothing in the game is worth extra yet, but in time maybe they'll be reason to actually make strong characters, not that I care about whether there's an endgame or not as I'm just a casual player collecting characters, weapons, exploring world, etc. But at some point you're going to be able to reach ascension 7, and as talents go up to lvl 15 while you technically can only go as far as lvl 10, going past only due to constellations. Surely there'll be a reason to take a character to 100 and actually get your talents real max, but really the problem is the playtime itself, worrying about building new characters while you can't even build the old 1s. There's over 40 characters in the game and have everyone of them yet in almost 2 yrs I haven't even built half yet more characters come, more weapons to lvl, talents to lvl, only so much exp books you can farm, enhancement crystals, mora, resin itself is the major issue as its what stops any progression, events are w.e., co-op is w.e., with all these day locks and resin locks, that what destroys this game and prevents new player from catching up with the old. Whether inend game becomes a thing or not, they just gotta get rid of resin, or why else take a mobile game and put it on pc, console when these systems can easily support long periods of play, then maybe if you could build every and all characters, there'd be so much variety that I could hearing about only meta characters being worthwhile bc quite personally I believe most meta characters to be overly boring except hu tao and itto, anyways that's it from me, hoyo, dislodge resin itself and your game will already be 65% better.

  5. Guys… I just realized why are we getting a compensation. BASICALLY! One of the rewards in it is one weekly fragile resin and 400 weekly primogems. AND THAT LEADS ME TO BELIEVE that Spiral Abbys won't get a reset, just like Battle Pass at the current moment doesn't exist anymore. So basically they are giving us 600 primogems from Abbys + one standard wish from a Battle Pass and one Resin from a Battle pass plus Mora, Hero's wit and enhancement ore from the battle pass……

  6. blue protocol is still in development. there is nothing you can do about the situation by the end of the day its a game and there is also real life which has real problems yes they should have make some content for time being but if the did not implement it before they never will unless tof will shake it good enough i hope genshin improve their gacha because tof seems miles better.

  7. Genshin also have no real challenge outside of abyss. Like all the story quest handheld u and the story bosses had some where u cannot lose even when u try to. I can argue that genshin successful also came from the fact people were lockdown and now most people are going back to work in person and don’t have as much time to play. Some just find it a chore cuz do 20 minute for 60 promo a day and your done

  8. Personally I don’t have a ton of time so I’m just enjoying levelling up my characters and waiting for the new content.
    But at certain times on a Friday night I want to play more genshin and I can’t. So I get it. We need a couple repeatable dungeon modes or boss rush modes. Wouldn’t even be hard

  9. I think mihoyo is evil to their development team and toxic so they quit working for them bcs they beg about freemogems and so they got fired. This is why the patch get delayed i think.

  10. I don't have any motivation to play Genshin Impact. I play this game now in just 30 mins. Everyday I do daily commission, make condensed resin after the log out. I feel frustrated in game I don't see the point where should we use Godly Artifact and C6 Unit.

    Currently i play Elder Ring and N-innonce since if I play more and more Genshin Impact maybe eventually I will hate Genshin.

  11. It’s honestly so frustrating how much we’ve been screaming at mihoyo for months now about this, so it’s not like they ARENT aware of it. I feel like they just are relying on their business model and new characters as a way to keep genshin sustainable, even though new characters are not new content endgame wise.

    I personally will not be leaving just because I enjoy the game (and honestly the lack of content fits well with my busy schedule), but I have obvious gripes with the lack of endgame since I wanna flex all the characters I spent time and resources on. Spiral abyss only is so much.

    However, I just realize that this is more of a side game if anything, so I just encourage everyone to try new games out as your main game, and try and play genshin as little as you can to avoid burnout.

  12. I mean, what's there to predict if there's none to look forward to?

    We gotta admit that we have seen how Mihoyo gone lazy over time, I'm not talking the employees, but the management and their intentionally ignoring the pleadings of their community. The reason also behind it's anniversary incident was because they refuse to listen to their community, and it was the only way to be heard at that time.

    Just to clarify, I don't want them to lose their livelihoods, I want the players to make up their minds. If they're still paying for a stagnant game, then MHY will have 0 incentive to change. May ToF save us all.

  14. Weird thought crossed my mind just now … Mario Kart like racing but with Genshin characters in karts or just gliding with appropriately themed power-ups in line with the 7 elements.

    Liben could be all:
    "Ey yo Traveller my dude, my gal, my fee-fi-fo-fum. These are the latest inventions from Fontaine designed to challenge the question if gliding would indeed be faster."

Not everyone wants change, some people are already comfortable with the current state of Genshin Impact and is enjoying it fully, If the community were to change some aspects of Genshin Impact some people will disagree with it. Take the Yae Miko "Buff" as an example, many asked for it and yet it received alot of backlash after it's released.

  16. I hope this tragedy bring the long needed change to genshin. Hoping the whole community will stand together on this to bring long overdue change instead of fighting against each other. Endgame content that is fun and repetitive unlike new regions that died after you clear map.

Bord people do impulsive stuff such as gambling for instance so that's there goal acutely and it's too early for people to give up on genshin so they are trying to milk it as much as possible maybe they went too fare this time because genshin players are really diminishing i guess only time will tell
