The real reason why no one play her because her guitar isn't a weapon
A friend of mine is a Xinyan main, but I have no idea how.
I am determined to find out
Solution 1 would be my pick.
I've loved Xinyan since day 1 (though the accent for English took alot of getting used to), and I can only make her decent as a burst support. Always new she had chops as a main dps, as long as they fix her.
only 2 viable builds for Xinyan
C2 Burster or C6 x🅱️inyanlla (or commonly known spinyan)
What if you used Shenhe, Chonyun, and bennet with Xinyan? Cryo attacks Xinyan could inflit pyro to do reverse melt or even normal melt.
I personally love xinyan, her aesthetic and her gameplay (yes) and i also love her personality and just love her character as a whole i currently have her at C1 and use her as a physical support my freind actually uses her xinyan as a main xinyan actually works really well with melt and vaporize comps i mostly use her with barbara since her sheild gives pyro damage and barbara's e lets her have the water thing around giving unlimted vaporize it also give u healing

As a new player I didn’t even know she existed until your videos. I don’t recall ever seeing her in game and I completed Inazuma

The easiest fix is definitely just rearranging the allocation and boosting some stats to make it cohesive and focused. Xinyan could be a good Unit, but her design is pleagued with self contradictory and unconhesive direction she's at.

It's funny how I started playing when ayaka banner was about to finish and she was in it (or the banner after that idk I forgot lol) I wanted he cause she was cool but my friends just laughed and said yea ok and I didn't know why until I was looking at artifacts and where and how to get them on YT and I saw worst characters in genshin video and yea rest is history
Shatter Sayu does more damage with the same requirement of 2 external units(cryo+hydro) but is cheaper since you only need elemental mastery. No need to level up her skills technically
I don't use her as much as I did when I first started genshin but she's still one of my favorites she was the first character I ever got on genshin
xinyan i gave her a try liked her built her then i got sick of her. i love how she looks but shes so boring. honestly it felt like mhy didnt know what to do with her…
as a Xinyan main… lol jk i don't play her. but mad respect to everyone who does.

Absolutely not true at least in genshin
1. Melt ganyu only uses charged atks cus the Q and E steals melts
2. Zhongli (metawise) gives all the same things but does not cast Q cus of the long animation makes it a loss in dps
3. Albedo barely casts Q for the same reason as zhongli unless he's c2
4. Sucrose in vape teams generally doesnt cast Q to not pyro infuse and steal vapes
5. Characters like Childe and raiden can completely ignore their normal atk talent.
Im probably missing more characters but the point is that these units do what they need to, yet can completely ignore a third of their buttons
Use her when I was low ar but dont now because her personality is annoying
2:50 wdym, 4 pc witch melt Bennett is strong as a main dps with xingqiu, chongyun and sucrose/Kazuha.
Yeah as a long time xinyan main now, no matter how much i love using her she still have major flaw.
The only comfortable spot for her in my team is literally full dmg burst support. Just build 2pale and 2glad then give her the sword fish and just dump all crit damage and atk to her plus a little ER if possible and she can be this 15 – 25% instant hp gone. Seriously she can literally just shave off 25% of enemy hp with just 2 button.
But again i already put so much resources for her anyway, so it's understandable for newer player to stay away from her since well you can spend your resources elsewhere like eula or even razor.
I just want to say that I LOVE this series and your Genshin content overall. Most popular Genshin content creators talk about the newer or more "meta" characters, so these videos really mean a lot to people like me that main the more unpopular characters. Thank you Vars! <3
As for Xinyan, it REALLY pains me that most people dont even acknowledge her existence because I love her aesthetic and playstyle. I havent min/maxed her but I sometimes put her on my team when Im bored and I really like using her. Maybe it's just that I like physical dps characters, (I have used Razor before and have already built my Eula) but I think shes really fun to use even with her flaws. Anyways I wish all the Xinyan mains/simps a very good day 😀
It’s a shame the devs screwed her over with her mixed scaling because she is such a fun character to play, one of the most satisfying bursts to use IMO
As a Noelle main that sudden backhand to the best maid hurts. I can't wait until the "Why No One Plays Noelle"
I guess part of the problem is she was designed when Mihoyo was still figuring out how to design characters goodly, and that she came out during Zhongli's first run which, notoriously, made a lot of people complain about Zhongli's issues. She just keeps getting overshadowed and forgotten and it's so sad because her playstyle has so much potential to be really really fun, she was one of the earlier characters I got to friendship 10. I love her design, I love her voice lines, I love how her skill and burst looks, I even love the little detail of how her drum bangs a little as she walks. The way the colors red and gold pop on her is something none of the other characters make me feel. They just really dropped the ball with her kit itself and it suckss.
“Play like keqing mains and pray she gets buffed” me being a keqing mains I do agree with this statement . I am still waiting for that artifact that could possibly buff keqing but haven’t heard of it in quite a long time. So sad
I really like her design (except her pant look like baby pampers). I still using her sometimes to pair with eula doing dailies.
