Ayato + raiden shogun is amazing! I really regret not getting raiden but it’s ok! I’ll use fischl for now
maybe because electro charge is bad
I knew about it but I never got to try it in the abyss, since this abyss really favoured Anemo, Hydro and Cryo. The pyro plant got deleted even before I could use Ayato E when I set up his burst and Yae totems. EC with Ayato is broken no doubt. But people hate Electro reactions, nobody wants to pair hydro and electro cause both the elemental resonances suck.
Would be even better if electro was a good element ; ^ ;
Good to see you got it a good build going. I'm using ayato, Raiden, venti/sucrose, albedo/yunjin. That way with either team I get a massive EM boost from either sucrose or albedo. Mainly because I don't have kazuha
I really like Ayato, Ganyu and Venti, their moves flow smoothly, it's fun, and it looks cool.
Becuz xingxiu /mona can do similar paired with raiden and venti
for big Ayato damage you should run Yun Jin with him. she is so cracked on Childe, I know she'd work so well with Ayato.
I used a trail Ayato with my Ganyu in the event today and yay it worked pretty well. I also used Yoimiya with a shield and Yujin, and she still felt boring to play. So yeah getting Ayato on his rerun, probably gonna skip Yoimiya again if she shows up.
Yea ayato burst is absolutely stier.
I've been using ayato, Raiden, venti, and yunjin in my overworld team. Been having a lot of fun sucking up huge groups and electrocharging them
Instead of Raiden, I'm using Fischl with Ayato because of friendship farming. But yes, he and Raiden have a very good synergy. I've tried it as well.
I kinda went for his C2 use him with Raiden Bennet Ganyu
This pair is 1 of my main duos since I pulled Ayato!
*Add in Benny, & Zhong Li, & I'm "smeshing eveyone!"
Or Yunjin(C6) to extract a few more slashes too!
I have the BP sword on him so he heals himself too.
He's extremely fun to play, solid 8.5 for me!
I just pulled Ayaka, but he slaps harder with Raiden!

My electro charged team with Ayato is : Ayato , Beidou, Raiden and Jean .
I start using Raidens E , then Beidou Q , then Ayato Q and E . After Ayatos E enters cool down I use Raidens Q
I haven't played Ayato yet, but he looks very cool. I have him. I think I'll wait to build him once my friend gets on. The water bosses kinda kill me.
I like to call Yae Miko’s E skill, Raiden’s E Skill, and Ayato’s Burst “Thunder Storm”
It works so well for me and I’m obsessed.

I didnt get Ayato because im saving for Childe cons since hes my fav character, but I would really like to use him someday with my Shogun, a friend got lucky and got c2 Ayato by mistake and it was looking so good in the abyss
Cody you got it all wrong. Genshin isn't about fun. It's about perfection, it's about math, it's about button and keyboard mashing to get those extra seconds for 50 primos.
The reason Ayato sucks is bc a Childe Taser team will do 2k damage more per 3 hits. That's 5k per rotation that's a whole 3 seconds in Abyys. According to Keqing mains for f2p that's there difference between clearing in 3 minutes or clearing in 3 minutes and 3 seconds, which means you don't get a whole 50 primos and your a genshin failure and everyone on the internet will laugh at you. Genshin is about being the best even if no one knows are cares you are. Fun has no place in a game as intense as Genshin Impact. Only winning
I use sunfire with Ayato & Venti, since fastest pyro application I could find, I don't have Kazuha yet
I have a similar team, only difference, I play Tartaglia instead of Ayato.

The team is way better if you have an anemo grouper, without I wouldn’t recommend as much. Love Ayato and his versatility so much.
Imagine if electro and cryo didn’t synergize so poorly for non physical dps 😅. Her, ayato and ayaya/ganyu would be even more broken
Ayato helped me clear all of floor 12 for the first time; he is insane in pretty much any team comp. I've also wondered why he isn't getting more hype. Maybe mine just has a cracked build or perhaps new characters just aren't as exciting anymore, or he doesn't cut it for speed comps (somehow?), but he is indeed tons of fun and I have a feeling it might just be a matter of time before he finds his place in the meta. I'd honestly rate him at 8.5, only docking points for his burst taking a little too long to cast, its high cost, and not having much utility beyond [insane] damage.

Ayato is amazing….so easy, fun to play.very F2P and his damage is constantly good. my Ayato crash content. but he is not a solo player, he needs the help of a team
If you got it try ayato raiden yae zhongli . I got my version all whaled out but god damn it slaps . It works better than I imagined it would when I put it together
Edit: I usually test comps against the raiden shogun fight to see if they can beat her before she gets to her next stage consistently
it works the same way any botched all 5 star units with no synergy works. if you have constellations, premium investment and weapons, it can clear the content. But That's not a testament of the team being "insane".
raiden provides increase in burst damage. And Ayato's main damage comes from his skill. He barely does any damage with burst.
Raiden's co-ordinated attacks have very low scaling compared to beidou's burst or fiscl's oz.
Why would you put raiden with him in this situation then?
If you wanna play raiden tazer, play raiden with xinqiu. xinqiu's rainsword does way more damage then ayato's burst rain drops.
if you wanna play ayato tazer, just play ayato with beidou and fiscl. they will have more synergy and more damage.
AYATO is my fave character so far. I know people say he is good. But I still feel he is still underrated. HE IS WAY TOO GOOD. Too fun and easy to build! He just keeps chips away at your enemy really good. He fits any or most teams

The reason why raiden + ayato isn’t discussed that much is cause the rot is extended. In other words, more time. Dps is caculated through damage per rot/rot time. Ayato needs to take some field time same goes for raiden so there will be a dps loss and they will fight for buffs but i would say that your team lacks buffs for both characters. Unless, you have C2 raiden or C6 the team will outpreform C0 teams. But if you have a raiden at C2, it would be better to just make a raiden hyper team cause less rot time and still pretty high damage.
Yae can work too IMO, My ayato's damage: 20k+ Yae's turret damage: 15k+ Electro-charged damage: 5k= 40k per slash, thats bonkers.

i use Ganyu,Ayato,Shenhe and Kazuha .Their burst combination looks cool and all you gotta to do is stay in the center and everything will be deleted .
As soon as I got ayato, I built him and put him on a team with raiden shogun, they have been stressing for weeks
