The New EVENT Weapon Has Some GREAT Uses! | Genshin Impact 4.5

There are several characters who can utilize the new event polearm, Dialogues of the Desert Sages. With most of them being healers and 4-stars at that, this is especially great news for Free-to-Play players!
Also, is it just me (Ryft), or has this Alchemy event been stellar?

  1. I love Yaoyao, but I think for Fav to trigger it needs to be on field, and I don't really use Yaoyao on field. But if you still need more ER, just get a ER Sands

  2. this weapon and the craftable fontaine; torn between which would be better for Chevreusse and YaoYao. At the moment I give it to Chev, YaoYao uses the fontaine craftable.

  3. Gave it to my Chevreuse and she really enjoys it. A good amount of hp in the substat so she can reach the 40k threshold easily, energy regen so she can ult on cd and buff everyone with her noblesse set, what’s not to love. The only downside is that it looks kinda goofy on her, but oh well.

  4. My Mika loves this weapon, he easily gains a total of 32 flat energy in a single rotation. Also, it allows me to use a healing bonus circlet and completely forget about crit rate (been using fav lance before)

  5. very spot on Ryft, I agree that this potion event is a good one. Been bored lately with the game but this potion event got me challenged and i enjoy it a lot. Btw great video about the weapon Vixen, keep it up! 🙂

  6. As others have said the Fontaine Craftable called Rightful Reward is also a good option. I used it on my Zhongli for a long time and compared it from the HP Stats with both Black Tassel and Staff of Homa. My Zhongli is Level 80 with Level 8 Talents (all are at 8). With Black Tassel (R5) I have about 43k HP, with Rightful Reward (R5) I have about 40.7k HP and with Staff of Homa R1 I have about 40.3k HP. So for me I like it (Rightful Reward) more then Black Tassel for the better Damage.

  7. I've been using it on Chevreuse and found that it will restore energy even if your characters don't need to be healed. The wielder just has to perform healing. Anyway, great video as always!

  8. One you missed out on is hu Tao. She does self healing during her burst so she basically just gets a 16 energy refund whenever she does her burst and it’s a HP mainstat which actually helps her. It’s about the same as the Fontaine craftable on her but probably slightly better since the hp main stat is higher.

It’s a shame I already had made the craftable Fontaine weapon r5, but I am actually in a polearm shortage so I actually did end up building this one. It’s definitely worth building weapons as a new player during events because you get a discount on upgrading them which saves a decent amount of mora. I love this weapon / Fontaine craftable on yaoyao because most of the time my other characters are fine energy management wise and it’s only yaoyao who needs energy so this weapon solves that. One of the problems with the Fontaine craftable is that you had to receive the healing so I had to hop to yaoyao use skill then wait a second to get healed then switch off to get my energy which was clunky. With new one, it’s just easier to get the energy back because it works off field and you just need to heal anyone.

  9. My concern is why they make it navy to baby blue instead of deep red to baby pink? One thing Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon taught us something about magical girl is the pink is the color.

  10. Unlike the craftable Rightful Reward, which shares a similar passive and scaling, the weapon requires the user to perform the healing, rather than being the one healed. As such, characters like Thoma, Candace, or pre-C6 Zhongli are unable to use the weapon's passive.

  11. I can’t decide whether or not to use the event weapon on Yaoyao or Chevy. I have rightful reward on Yaoyao right now, but it’s only R1. It doesn’t give nearly as much HP as the event weapon, but it has a higher base atk. I have it at lvl 80 on Chevy for now bc I really hate using the black tassel, it’s just such a weak weapon lol.

  12. Its ok but they werent very creative with it, the passive is just a copy paste of Rightfully Reward but they changed a word so it works a tiny bit differently, they also changed the stat distribution a little so this one gives less attack and more hp. Still not a fan of what they did there, but its easier than getting rightfully reward to R5 so meh, just a shame I wasted resources on it.

  13. the weapon isn't necessarily bad but its literally just the craftable weapon with and benefit of being able to work off field it gives the same amount of energy and has the same cooldown

imo it was really lazily designed weapon
