Why I'm Excited for AYAKA! My Expectations + Build! | Genshin Impact

Another con that I forgot to include but would like to mention is regarding her stamina consumption when using her dash + charged attacks, will it be similar to keqing’s stamina problems? Just some things to think about!

  1. I like to think that most of the inazuma characters are just better versions of the free ones.

    Ayaka: better kaeya
    Yoimiya: better amber
    Yae: better lisa
    Tohma: better xiangling
    Kokomi: better barbruh

  2. Re: stamina consumption – she regains stamina after using her dash! (which in itself is the first time ever such a skill has been included in a kit), she also consumes lesser stamina than keqing (25 vs 20) for charge attacks

  3. Mona cannot use her underwater sprint in Abyss, right?
Question: if Ayaka gonna have same restriction to her dash – so basically her cryo infusion is unavailable in Abyss? T__T

  4. I am going to skip for Ayaka, for a few reasons: I already have Ganyu, I dislike Ayaka's dash, Ganyu freeze team with Mona is superior in damage to Ayaka freeze team with Xingqui, Ganyu has far more CC potential with her entire kit performing AoE damage when is more important for 3 star on his abyss floors than simply single target damage potential, Ayaka's burst can completely miss her opponents and pass through them lowering her damage output. I think overall Ayaka will be Xiao level of DPS, which is about 10-15% lower than Ganyu or Hu Tao

  5. Nice vid. I really do want Ayaka myself but the problem is Ganyu is said to rerun soon and I have to decide between the two. Unfortunately, aesthetic-wise, I like both of them equally, so going by meta/utility, I feel that Ganyu may be the better choice for me due to having multiple roles like support and DPS and most likely having bigger numbers than Ayaka. I have to say though, skipping Ayaka will probably be one of my most painful decisions I have to make in Genshin Impact.

  6. Not really pulling for Ayaka mostly cause dash mechanics in genshin are just ehhh. Mona works for me cause she's a quick swap character, you pop her E + Q then switch her out so I don't even have to move with her, but with Ayaka being a main dps I have to stay with her and actively use her dash for cryo infusion. The dash just stresses me out lol.
Also because there are just way too many cryo and pyro characters already in-game (9 pyro and 8 cryo if you include yoimiya and ayaka) that I'm mostly looking forward to new electro characters since we haven't had a new one since the game released.
But either way good luck to you all pulling for Ayaka, I hope you get her in the first 10 pull!

  7. I'm currently contemplating about Ayaka's teammates. I'm thinking of running Mona for her great omen damage bonus, but Xingqiu will be better for hydro application. If I'm running both, hydro resonance isn't exactly beneficial. Diona probably will be another must have for my Ayaka since she's the only cryo support I've built.

  8. My comp do suffer heavily from CD debuff and all my main Dps are based on rotation. Moreover I haven't yet have a Cryo Dps so Ayaka fits the criteria not to mention I really like her aesthetic. I wish u all good luck pulling for her. I personally have enough for her C1 but I will only get her at C0 and save the rest for Baal( will build pity a bit for Sayu).

  9. For anyone who is concerned about ayaka dash ,that dash is optimised and you can eyeframe like normal dashes. And it is faster and has shorter animation than mona. So you don"t have to worry about special dash if it is your only reason not to pull on her.

  10. Ayaka xiangling bennett might be a good team. im really unsure if im actually gonna pull for ayaka. if she cant beat my phys dmg keqing then it might not be worth it. keqing phys build with enough crit dmg hits like a truck. i love keqing both for electro and phys dmg, but one thing i cant stand is an 80 energy cost ult like eula. i have eula and i literally hate her playstyle but i dont play her just because of her ult not her playstyle. ayaka really might be good tho. im hoping she is even if i dont roll for her. gl rolling to all that are ayaka fans.

  11. assuming I have 40 crit rate and 200 crit dmg from artifacts alone, am I better off going with an atk% sword. My artifacts with black cliff warbow similar to black cliff sword, has around 1700 atk which seems kind of low.
