The Main sub is just full of fan-art,cosplay and just for fun Questions/discussions with some toxic dumbass somewhere making a huge ass thread
The meaning full discussions are in the Mains
Genshin Reddit is just wierd…
I have seen people share discuss kits/expectations through exclusive mains pages discussion sections. I am very very new to Reddit. So, definitely I may not know more than you.
When it comes to meaningful discussions or speculations, I will always go to Genshinlore and the 'Dream' subreddit. People there are very open to discussions and able to propose various unique ideas.
I go to reddit for genshin leaks, not for the 99% of all the idiots on there.
You are the one to talk.
I also hate reddit, for the same reasons. I don't mind the fanart since I like that and it's easy to find unlike shitter which I no longer use. But yeah it needs to have more.
I went on the main genshin reddit a long way back when I was still relatively new to the game, but I really couldn't post/discuss something without people showing off being like "oh wow you didn't know that" in a condescending way, it just put me off. Personally I just go to the character subreddits if I have specific questions, and I'll go to Twitter for the fan-art/cosplays
And Twitter is the opposite where you just want to enjoy fanart, cosplays and some news but it's riddled with "debates".
bruh genshin has a reddit thought that was r cosplay and art
Maybe it's because it's easy to look at a cosplay/fanart and upvote ones that are even just decent and ignore ones that don't interest you. Meanwhile, discussions will always have a mix of upvotes and downvotes, which in the end, result in low net upvotes, and therefore won't get featured in the "hot" page.
Nah bro I say the same shit to people to their face and behind their backs
I'm honest like that
I mean, fanarts and memes are what i want to see when i go to reddit. Discussion and stuff like that i usually look for on Discord servers.
Honestly Reddit as a whole has really fallen off in recent years. Anymore I mostly use it for when I'm searching for the answers to a question I have about something.
Posted my fanarts on this Genshin subreddit and got a lot of harashment for it (you can check them in my chanel if you want).
I only go to genshin leaks subreddit.. sometimes I find nice discussions there.
You should just check the “daily questions” mega thread on the subreddit. It has discussions about builds, lore, theories, game design, etc.
the only Genshin subreddit i go to is the leaks subreddit. looking into future characters' kits is something i find highly valuable so i can decide which characters i want and if the future patches will be empty so i can take a break
I love the “you do you boo boo” attitude 💁♂️
It's the same with hoyolab. They banned a lot of people with negative opinions (my friend got silenced for 8 YEARS) and right now almost all topics are stupid screenshots, funart and "I got X character wow"
MYH is refusing to give us balance patches or any endgame content. So not much to discuss on reddit. Only thing left obv is fanart etc
If we actualy had some interesting ingame stuff to discuss, the sub would also be much more engaging.
Genshin Reddit is a literal echo chamber of 14 year old and elitists
Valk: "Interesting Gourou fanart i cannot show"
Me: "Probably Kujou Sara pegging him HARD!"
lmao
