Tbh, I gameplay playstyle that is similar to Honkai: Star Rail's Destruction path in Genshin sounds really cool. Instead of Hu Tao and Xiao who scale with ATK, having characters that actually transform HP into damage is a good niche.
Hopefully, Hoyoverse actually goes hard on that concept and does not just release 1 or 2 units after Dehya.

On a similar, but slightly off-topic note… It is interesting that Hoyoverse stopped releasing Geo characters. Perhaps they plan to rework the element with Fontaine.
This set lools ideal for any Hydro damage dealer, though the Hydro Archon may have a new support oriented set
1. A very good video! I discovered your channel a week ago and im very happy to have found a Genshin YouTuber that seems to have knowledge about the game and doesn't spread misinformation (like many do, sadly).
2. I never really thought about farming that domain since it seemed always pretty useless for me. I have Childe and I want to improve his build but other domains (especially the Deepwood/Gilded one im farming currently) seem more resin effective. But since you're probably right about Fontaine I will start farming that domain now. Especially since I really want a better Childe and I want to pull for at least one Hydro character in Fontaine (probably Neuvilette, let's hope that he will at least work with the 2 piece Hydro set).
3. Is a 2x Tenacity 2x Vourukasha's Glow better on Zhongli than a 4x Tenacity / better on Baizhu than a 4x Clam (49.5k HP)?
Im doing that ever since the Domain is unlocked as well , I've seen the potential it has especially Nymph's Dream.
I also think this is Obvious bit Focalors best in slot artifact in Fontaine is gonna be cracked asf.
I dont even need leaks to know that Nymph's Dream , Vourukasha and Focalors own artifact set will dictate Fontaine's Meta.
Also i agree with you that Fontaine characters will perform differently than the Previous regions.

i'd love to start farming this domain too since im saving for childe in 4.0 but rn i need help:
im ar 45 and i'm waiting to upgrade my world level because my characters are underleveled, so i'm focusing on material farming. The problem is most of my characters don't have a 4pc of their best in slot, should i farm artifacts even though getting 5 star ones is hard at ar45 or should i keep going with mats? oh and is there an efficient way of getting the ascension element crystals?
You forgot xingqiu especially for the hydro dmg increasing his dmg reduction. At c6, can lower ER requirements until just sac sword alone. When below 180% ER, emblem is not that good anymore.
Hearing about Hydro archon depleting hp made me farm this domain as well, I farmed it everyday
We already have pure healer teams that are Abyss ready, I wouldn’t be surprised if 4.0+ doubles down on it.
honestly i rather farm artifact domains where both artifacts are useable for all the characters i care about

I think there's still only a lot of speculation about Fontaine right now and we still don't know 100% for sure what Fontaine will offer exactly. Idk if investing resin into farming for potential and possible future characters/metas is really going to be that efficient of a use of resin.
In terms of new hydro characters Focalors and Hydro MC are confirmed and likely at least 1 or 2 other hydro characters but it's not going to be like Sumeru with a dendro character released almost every if not every patch unless HYV just really wants to oversaturate the hydro roster (pun intended) which already has a pretty filled out roster. Plus we don't actually know what direction HYV will go with hydro characters if they will even scale with ATK or even be DPS oriented especially considering the last 3 hydro characters that were released all scaling primarily off HP (Yelan, Candace, Nilou). Nymphs dream is a pretty DPS-oriented set but if the trend from previous regions continues, Focalors and Hydro MC are likely going to primarily be supports.
We also still don't have 100% confirmation on what kind of changes to the meta if any that Fontaine will bring at least enough to say whether Vourukasha's will be more or less viable. The last artifact sets released before Sumeru (Echos and Vermillion) have basically been forgotten about. Plus once Fontaine drops there will likely be a new artifact domain with relevant sets like Emblem/Shimenawa for Inazuma or Gilded/Deepwood for Sumeru. For all we know Vourukasha's and Nymph's could be much less relevant in Fontaine so idk if farming it now with the information available would yield results and you could potentially end up having farmed sets that don't end up being that useful or be niche at best. Personally, I'm at least going to wait a bit until there is more concrete information available.
