Why Genshin Impact's Enemy Designs Are Good [Genshin Impact Analysis]

You know, I woke up and thought of two things. First, I wanted La Signora on my thumbnail, two I wanted to praise Genshin’s enemy designs because they are amazing. I didn’t think I’d finish this video today. Hm. Shocking.

  1. I'm hoping for some non-human "Normal" class enemies in the future, like Bake-Danuki Treasure Horders, Oni Kairagi, Kitsune Fatui Agents, maybe some of the Nekomata that were mentioned in Toki Alley Tales (and which a certain provisional head shrine maiden almost certainly is, probably unbeknownst to herself) that transform and attack you only if you do something to anger them first (like attack them, take fish from their pond, or "accidentally" splash them), and the like.

  2. Genshin Impact is incredible. The little details about every mobs, characters, weapons and item is what made me love this game.
I'm the type of person that love details and explore the open world of any game, I guess this is what made me play Genshin when my friend recommended it to me.
Usually I find my self looking on Genshin Impact characters design for more little details that I may or may not notice.

  3. Visually i agree the enemies are pretty good
    But in terms of gameplay…
    Its pretty much 3
They either do absolutely nothing and their moves can be completely ignored (most fatui enemies, most ruin enemies, all hilichurl enemies, all abyss mages, all human/samurai after nerf)
They exist only to stall time and their moves outside of stall dont really matter (most bosses, heralds, slimes if you bring wrong element)
Or they are absolute spawn of satan that just make the game worse (all wolves, woppers, ruin cruiser and flower and all teleport stuff in general)
If i had to say out of all enemies in the game heralds are probably the best designed enemies while wolves being the worst thing this game ever invented
fun fact: i had no idea what ruin grader moveset was until i did klee solo abyss in the dog god abyss and I'm a day1 player btw
truly a definition of "good design"

  4. The only enemy I think is poorly designed is the Geovishap, mostly due to its idiotically large hitbox that WILL get you stuck into a wall or corner no matter how hard you try to dodge

The ones in the recent one off domain are prime examples of why I hate them
I really wanna know what Hoyoverses Genshin Team was on when they created Geovishaps

  5. "And now we create another cube !!"

"No please, not another cube ! We already have like 4 of them ! People are tired of seeing cube bosses !"

    "Wait ! I wasn't finished !
This one is made of bakugan !!"

    "Omg"

  6. I definitely think signora's visual designs are the prettiest. Also because her 2nd form's wings look absolutely stunning. I also love the pyro aesthetic, goodness.. that gown tho. It's all just kind of unique, and it can tell you that she's not the character in genshin, even if you don't consume / play genshin

  7. I'm just so glad Genshin isn't that hardcore gacha game that has specific "killer" stats. Like if Itto has 30% damage against treasure hunters or Yelan does 25% more damage against fatui and such.
