In 2024, Dawei just held Genshin, which was previously held by Cai, and if you know, Cai also held Hi3rd at the beginning, the outfit price was 15k cry😑😑 (for those of you who have played Hi3rd from the beginning, you must know about that), now it's only 9.8k cry, I hope Genshin gets better

i've been playing GI for 4 whole years and planning to drop if 5.0 screw up but luckily, they started to change and i will give it a chance too. However, these changes are not enough to make me return to be a light spender, instead i rather spend my money in Wuwa.
Genshin team devs doing poorly; lets put the mascot of Hoyoverse DaWei speak and cry to get our players back. 😂 genshin have fallen just because they finally have a good competitor, wuwa. NTE, Azur Promilia, Arknight coming soon with even more fanservice in their game, idk how a family friendly game will keep hold on.

All I know is that cai haoyu,stepped down during 4.0 and da wei took over that's why they been doing all these quality of life changes,and then Natlan Livestream came out where they actually listen,it is too late especially with the free five star but they did say there adding more characters to the Standard banner,I believe genshin failed with cai haoyu,let's just see what da wei does,but this is a step in the right direction 🤘

Cai Haoyu literally doesn't work as the Producer of Genshin since Sumeru, Cai was always the in charge of the programming side for all their games and management of said programmers. DaWei is the person who is responsible for approving everything. Either way I never care I will, continue playing Mihoyo's games till the end, till the moment when all the tourists leave 😂

plus, It isn't even entirely da wei's fault! Our producer used to be Cai Haoyu, who used to be in hi3, and hi3 at that time had a similar situation to genshin (bad rewards, mid qol,etc). Then, he moved to work on genshin and David jiang took over hi3, which made the game a lot better.
After genshin had the 3 wishes drama, cai haoyu got removed and he's working on a different hoyo project now.
Even though da wei is CEO, da wei had less power than Cai Haoyu since Cai Haoyu had the highest share of the company, so Cai always got the final decision.
As to why they waited for a couple of patches, They were saving the big stuff for anniversary and new region.
Why people don't understand Wuwa wasn't the reason of changes in genshin? Wuwa is not even a competition. Wuwa is just like ToF. Genshin changed drastically in Sumeru as well, during that time ToF is considered a genshin killer and reason for genshin's changes. Turns out it was never a competion. Wuwa is Tof 2.0 in every aspect, including history. It's gonna die in several month(already fell off) and nobody gonna remember it. Just like nobody remembers tof. Man, people never learn.
