yaoyao is pretty fast at full party heals, i use her in nilou super blooms
So, sig weapon or no?
I waited on her official release to see the discourse on her being a benefit to a Hu Tao team and upon seeing the birth of the HT / Yelan / Furina / Jean team, I put in my wishes for her. From what discussions im seeing, this new comp makes Hu Tao more valuable above 50% health than below due to how Furina works. Currently farming for resources to build everyone. Absolute unit of an Archon.
i have furina, but the fact that she's so powerful is the reason i won't use her to fight. i'll only put her in my exploration team since her passive let her swim faster, so she'll stay level 20 (20 instead of 1, to get a free wish).
this game is already so easy the fights can easily get boring. that's why when i started playing +/- half a year ago, i made somr rules for myself.
1. only girls in the main team. the only use for men characters are their passive.
2. only 2 chars per ele + lumine. (2 instead of 1 for elemental resonance)
3. lumine is always there if doing a quest (she can only leave when doing exploration stuff like collecting chest for exemple).
finaly 4. i play characters because i like their personality, not because they're good. (otherwise, rosaria would have been my 1st cryo char, instead of layla).
personaly, i have my whole final main team planed. anemo – sayu, sucrose. pyro – yoimiha, xiangling (may swap xiangling for pyro archon). cryo – layla, charlotte. geo – noelle, yun jin. dendro – kirara, nahida. electro – keqing, ei. hydro – nilou, candace. I'm still missing yoimiha, nilou, nahida and ei. as for lumine, I'm boosting all her ele. instead of focusing one. sometime, players are forced to use lumine only, so boosting her can always be useful. as for furina, i prefer candace, personality and nilou is my fav, along with yoimiha on that matter. i could like her personality more, if she was a kid like sayu.
this game is already too easy, so taking furina wouldn't help at all. sure, ei and nahida are also powerfull, but nahida will mainly be there for the mindreading ability during quests. as for ei, she's not there to fight, but to boost the chars that aren't too op. so, neaither are there to serve as powerhouse.
Guy really just made a video moments after she came out and used the usual lie title to assume that "everyone will" play her…

Idk man i find her character insufferable, i might not pull still out of spite lol.
Furina feels worse because her burst buff without another aoe healer takes too long to max stacks. She has ER issues and her healer mode is the worst, no hydro application and no Energy particles and not even team heal.

In the middle of battle, if I go to my character profile and look at the stats, what stat should I look at that will highlight bonus in damage?
Funny, Lore Vs Gameplay is laughable.

7:50 She buffs Dmg %, not total dmg% , its a 75% Phy/ele dmg bonus to the whole team. That might seem confusing but its not a 75% total dmg increase but thats how genshin dmg calculation works.
I tried hard to get Yelan, but since I'm FTP, it didn't happen. Maybe Furina will come home instead and make up for it a little.
You are forgetting mika baizhu and charlotte are good team wide healers, furina does not depend on jean only
Correction in the video: Her DMG bonus isnt elemental DMG bonus its additive damage bonus. Additive damage bonus comes at the beggining (BaseDMG * BaseDMGMultiplier) + Additive Damage Bonus (75% c0 max fanfare) ; elemental damage bonus is the one after it * (DMGbonus – DMG reduction of the target) Whether is better or worse than elemental damage depends on what/who ur using it. Nevertheless huge damage increase but there is still a difference!
But how much bonus damage if you don't have Jean ? You'd need to use Yaoyao, Sayu or Qiqi who aren't pretty useful in most teams except for Yaoyao but they all still have high er requirements. Kokomi and Baizhu are a good option outside Jean but it means you'd need to pull two characters to get the most out of two ?
Even if you can have the best duo Furina and Jean, you have your insert any main dps and you need to choose between sub-dps and crowd control or another element that fit with your team.
4 members may almost become lacking in some teams and Furina need to integrate while she won't always be able to max out her burst bonus damage in all teams. Because i love Jean but except for her burst damage and healing she won't do pretty much anything else as batterying Furina and almost be an empty slot in a team imo.
I'm just sceptical about the statement "Furina can fit in every team tbh"
Any character that makes vars lose composure is scary
