I think the traveler is only useful for f2p users, if you never get characters your can still play the game and solve the puzzles only with the traveller

I main Anemo Aether, he does 26k Palm Vortex Raw no food buffs no character buffs or resonance. 34-37k when debuff with his burst. Deals 2600-4000 normal attack damage. What's not to love with the Traveler?
