Yep hoyoverse really wants the players to be longterm because the just cant give us a little information without spending hours and hours of yaping
brilliance of this is they completely remove any reference of Rukkhadevata from the game's lore as she was removed from people's memory. Even the Archons no longer remember who she was. No book, no notes, no memory, entirely gone. Only the Player, and the Traveler remembers that she ever existed, not even Nahida remembers. Devs went so far to have two of every single piece of dialogue/literature that would of ever referenced her outside of the quest lines, with the 2nd leaving her out entirely.

To be fair, the Archon quest came out like a year ago, so the tease about all the Teivat lore was a good bait, now is…kinda late for that bait because we have Fontain and their crazy lore

Yeah, Alicia don't worry keep playing a little further they talk about the fake sky thing and reveal something even more insane. Let HYV cook. Also it's ok, but you definitely forgor that Nahida has been very active. In act 1 it was revealed that she appeared in people's dreams to help inspire them and give them knowledge. And in Act 3 or 4 they revealed than she's been possessing the mad scholars to help protect Aaru village. In act 2 it was only thanks to her help that stopped the endless Samsara and nobody was hurt. So she's been doing as much as she could considering she was imprisoned for all her life and investigating irminsul's problem. But again you haven't played for years so it's completely normal to forget some details.
