  1. dem i wish hoyo will rerun the old events for new players or for those who missed it like me, i really want the festering sword. But cant complain with with the r5 pipe since its better than the battlepass sword for my perspective so u can go hp% sands instead of ER%

and u can go for crit dmg circlet, furina has 19+crit ascension + 16crit from pipe r5 without anything to worry bout the ER.

  2. From one Noelle enjoyer to another, what are your team ideas for Furina with Noelle? It seems to me that she'd be able to easily max out the fanfare and keep Furina in dps mode. I currently use Yelan, yunjin and Fish with my Noelle since I never snagged a c6 Gorou. I'm thinking she'll maybe replace Fish, but also maybe Yelan since shockrock is pretty good. Idk

  3. Actually, I think festering sword is not that good. Because if you use new golden set, you already have 70% DMG bonus for skill. So, extra 32% is not flat 32% damage increase, it's only around 19%, which is not bad, but it does mean that r5 pipe is equal and moreover r5 battle pass option is even greater. I think that BP option will be her best 4-star r5.

  4. C0-C2 Furina will be mainly functioning as a buffer/support. Thus, it's more important to focus on her ER to enable burst every rotation. Yes, her energy requirement has reduced, but she will still need ER regardless. Favonius or Ferryman will be her best 4 star weapon besides FD which most of players don't have. She wouldn't be doing much damage at low constellations anyway.

C6 Furina is DPS focused thus Wolf Fang will be her best 4 star weapon. Maybe even Dockhand Assistant might suit her as well, though the EM buff doesn't really benefit her.

Aiming for C2 Furina to support Neuvillette's hypercarry team (Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha and Zhongli) which should max out her buff without the need of teamwide healer.

  5. Screw fishing I'm using Harbringer of Dawn. It either works or I'll stop playing the game, that simple. Not releasing any F2P crit or HP swords is crossing a line, and for an Archon, even more so.

  10. If I'm not wrong that weapon gives 32 ER from the passive lasts only 5 seconds so her first 2 particles will give more energy then she will have normal 45 er again

  11. Important Details left out about Wolf-Fang's Passive's Effects!
ONE BEING THAT THEY DON'T ALL TRIGGER OFF-FIELD!

-[1]- The E Skill & Burst Damage Bonus (16-32% R1-R5) IS ALWAYS ACTIVE, which is good news as it's by far the most powerful of the Passive's Effects at low Refinement.

-[2]- However, it's more complicated when it comes to the Elemental Skill & Burst's Crit Rate Stacks.

≈> This 2nd Part of the Passive works in the following way:

~> Each time your E Skill hits an Opponent, its Crit Rate is increased by 2-4% (R1-R5) as a Stack is gained.

~> Same for the Burst: +2-4% Crit Rate Stack upon hitting an Enemy.

    • Maximum of 4 Stacks.
    • E and Q's Stacks are independent.
    • Stack last 10s, can trigger every 0.1s

So, at R1, you have the potential of receiving (max) a +8% Crit Rate Buff on both your E Skill & Burst.

This requires your Skill and/or Burst to hit an Enemy 4 times, which not every Character's Kit can do.

It's a pretty modest and rather insignificant Buff at R1, unless your Char is really too low on Crit Rate.

But things get very interesting at R5 (or close) as the maximum Crit Rate Buff is now +16%, which could also allow you more flexibility, let's say your Rotation is too tight and you only have time to get 2 Stacks (out of 4), which still gives +8%, same as R1 full Stacks.

-[3]- Now that I've explained a bit how the Passive works, I can finally explain the Mechanics behind the Stacks and how it relates with staying Off-Field.

~> Good News! Even though it's mentioned nowhere in the Passive's Description that it works Off-Field, there's a way!

~> So, for the Passive's 2nd Effect to work, you need to cast your Skill and/or Burst.

⚠️ To gain Stacks, you must wait for Enemies to get Hit while you're On-Field! ⚠️

If you remember, the Passive's Description says that:
"Both of these effects last 10s separately, have 4 stacks max, […]"

By "Both" they mean the Stacks for the E Skill AND the Burst.

~> So, as soon as you Activate the Passive's 2nd Effect (Crit Rate Stacks) while you're still On-Field, the Stacks' Effect stay Active for 10 seconds WETHER YOU'RE ON-FIELD OR NOT!

To conclude, if you want to use Wolf-Fang on a Character that stays mostly Off-Field, you'll need to first wait to have gained the amount of Stacks for your E Skill and/or Burst before Switching Characters and keeping the one wielding Wolf-Fang Off-Field to deal E & Q Damage.

Hope this helps at least one person!

Accurate Information about how this Passive works On-Field or Off-Field has been very hard to come by, as there are a ton of contradictory statements out there.

So I took the opportunity to do the Research both for you and for myself as I am slowly Refining a copy of Wolf-Fang (currently R2, Lvl.90).
