Hello everyone! In today’s video, we’ll be breaking down all the banner updates from versions 5.3 through 5.4, including new characters, reruns, chronicled wish and a sneak peek at rumored skins.

Let’s dive into what’s new in version 5.3. First up is Mavuika, set to join the roster as a playable character, alongside Citlali, a new five-star Cryo Catalyst. Reports from reliable sources have confirmed both characters, with Mavyika expected in phase one and Citlali in phase two. As for reruns, Xianyun and Shenhe are likely candidates for 5.3, and this would be Xianyun’s first rerun since her release during Lantern Rite last year. Given the timing, a Shenhe rerun would fit too, though it’s also possible that Arlecchino could make a comeback. Released in 4.6, Arlecchino’s rerun feels due and would pair perfectly with the Pyro Archon banner. It’s tough to say which way Hoyoverse will go, but either Shenhe or Arlecchino would be exciting to see.

Next up is the Chronicled Wish banner, where we’ll likely see a focus on characters from Liyue, like Xiao, Baizhu, Ganyu, Keqing, and possibly even Yelan. Now, let’s talk about the new skins. A Yelan skin is somewhat likely for this patch, and rumors from some sources hint that Zhongli might get one too, though this remains unverified. Additionally, we’ll probably see a free four-star skin during Lantern Rite, possibly for Xiangling or Yaoyao. As for the release, skins are usually dropped in x.4 and x.8 patches, so we might get them during the Lantern Rite event. Which character would you like to see with a new skin? Moving on to version 5.4, there haven’t been any reliable leaks just yet. However, we were initially expecting Madame Ping, the next adeptus from Liyue, as a playable character. Although she may have been delayed from a Lantern Rite release, it’s speculated she might debut in 5.4. Despite the timing seeming unusual, releasing her afterward might actually boost her banner’s performance. That said, we have no solid confirmation of her inclusion yet. As for other characters, an Archon rerun is anticipated, with both Venti and Furina still due for another appearance. Venti would be perfect for 5.4, though if he’s saved for 5.5, we might instead see a Furina rerun sooner than expected. Additionally, if Shenhe or Arlecchino doesn’t appear in 5.3, they might get featured here. Clorinde is also due for a rerun soon, likely in either 5.4 or 5.5. And finally, Hoyoverse could throw in a surprise rerun, maybe for a character like Wriothesley who’s been waiting a while for his first rerun.
