  1. I know timegating. I know there are small portions of the desert you can enter, what I am referring to in the video is what hoyo themselves teased constantly. I was under the assumption it would come with sumeru as it was in the teasers constantly (you can go back watch any of my reactions I got especially excited for the desert). Just a little disappointed its not coming until later patches.

  2. Even the story is botched…
After we find out what is wrong in Sumeru we are told dont worry about it…. i thought we are going against the enemy but nope nothing…. waiting for your reaction

  3. This is also the case for the islands on inazuma they tease all the island but in 2.0 we only got the first 3 island I think then after that each patch they release new island so it's understandable they will do it to sumeru who knows maybe we have not even gotten the full forest area Yet!

  4. Okay, I know you damn well look at leaks so you had to know the desert wasn't coming this patch. Not only that, but the region you're trying to go to isn't the desert or a time gated area. It's locked behind a long quest that also unlocks the area that's missing above too. You can explore the top zone without doing the quest but you can't get everything there until you finish it.

This is just utter nonsense. We know you love ToF but come on now. This is just ignorance or straight up lying to your audience when you should know better. The desert is coming at the end of September and it will nearly double the size of Sumeru.

  5. That is disappointing yes but what I'm most angry about is how they locked the Sumeru tree and a bunch of mandatory exploration tools behind like, days worth of questing. There are also ridiculous distances and chests are…not very frequent to put it mildly and you generally get less rewards for more time consuming tasks.

  6. My question is why Sumeru statue of seven needs a shit ton of dendro thingy instead of 1 for lvl 2, etc. Like it was in Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma.
And reappearing red exclamation mark for notifications now never will be fixed like they never will fix incorrect Beidou c4 description, i assume…

  8. no desert, but A LOT of rainforest area + dehya/nilou/alhaitham enjoyer. 😎
no spoilers except you get the chance to meet them which is in of itself a pog moment times 3

one thing that irks me though is that on reddit, there is a post comparing itto to alhaitham… a flipping human is beefier then itto the oni which are (supposed to be) naturally beefy… where's the (model) buff for itto, hyv!? 😫😫😫

  9. Well, you can actually see the desert from the distance and it's looking a bit dry.
Genshin players will be so thirty with content in a few days-weeks depending on how people ration content.
Need to stay hydrated at all times but don't worry we will get resupplied faster after 5 weeks.
For the meantime, You can stay in the forest of artifacts with your tower of copium having that fantasy of getting the perfect artifacts.
You then decided to take a break and went to the beach. You saw some beautiful waves.
You then went back to the fields of sumeru and decided this will be your end.
Don't worry a new big event is coming called the Anniversary tree that surely be burning by the time you're back.

  10. They showed off it but they already said the desert part wont be in 3.0 and sumeru is basically the largest nations itll take time to make the desert part they teased it bc ppl were basically leaking it too much

  12. I didn’t expect it to come this patch since they once said a 5 star character on a limited banner will come to match with current events so 3.1 is the desert patch with introduction of cyno

  13. Valk started using the Akasha terminal, that's why he does not "dream" anymore. Only those who "dream", knew about a month ago, that the main desert area will be released in 3.1.

  14. Ah, me too. I was more looking forward to the desert. I haven’t been enjoying the overworld exploration experience, too dense for me. And I expected Cyno much earlier from him being on the travail. It’s not bad just miffed.

  15. I'm mostly thinking that they don't want to overwhelm us with SO much things to explore. I mean just giving us the rainforest is already big, imagine if they added the desert. Plus it'll take us a pretty long time to explore ALL of sumeru, so I like how they're basically expanding sumeru one at a time. The desert might be the first and last expansion of sumeru, who knows, but its like for now, to maybe give us time to explore the rainforest and enjoy the scenery before moving on to the desert. At least that's how I see it.

  16. Since I'm so busy until next year I just wait until all map unlock to explore but I manage to open the big tree first , and only doing event that give primos, skipping puzzle that take long time the reward doesn't worth my time so I skipping for a while.

  17. You can unlock those two region by the aranyaka quest series, I think total of 43 subquests and the desert is in the last quest.
Really big quest but worth it.

  18. People almost forget that Sumeru is a whole new continent and not a small region like the Chasm and Enkonomiya. I really trying to comprehend why people want to 100% Sumeru already and it hasn't even been a week like what?!

  19. Yeah but on the bright side, you know that it will be massive when it comes out. Like, the fourest zone currently accesible is already bigger than any region we had before it…

  20. I like this slow pace of development in Genshin. Gives me lots of time to relax and listen to music. I don’t want gaming to become a chore. I’m glad you have ToF to keep you busy.
