  1. Ok. I have read a leak about Capitano's real name(i am not going to say here for obvious reasons). But that name, did not start with Th. Which has thrown me down for a loop. So I am going to look up the name of all Khaenriahns mentioned to us in the game sooo far. and try to see if i can find anyone prominent enough with name starting with "Th".

  2. 39:25 Just being brave in and optimistic about fate doesn't make you a descender. Your will must be capable of rivaling a world. Aka your will should have potential for hope and miracles. Otherwise there are way too many characters who would not give up like Capitano.

  3. Maybe the fact that they held back on anything we've been waiting for (e.g. Capitano face reveal, Ancient Name reveal, etc.) could mean that they're psyching us up for the next act, for it to truly pop off.

  4. I'm actually glad that his face isn't revealed in the game. I love how the graphic horror of what happened to his face is so bad that it's just left to interpretation, based on the traveler's and Paimon's reactions. It really goes to drive just how bad the curse of immortality is.

  5. Honestly, I would rather not see Capitano's face. I think the mystery factor makes him looks a lot cooler. Whether his face looks like rotten corpse, still handsome or literally NPC etc., I think I'll be disappointed in 1 way or another.

  6. When he hesitates and corrects himself over his name, he almost says one of the sinners' names. But it's different between languages. Like in jp he starts off with su but in Eng we got th. Wonder what it will end up being. It's also kind of a fake tease for the player. He's been alive so long and in his own words has pretty much left his old name behind. If that's the case, how did he almost slip up now? (Unless they want to imply he's feeling closer to his old self at some point, but still, seemed odd execution to me.)

  7. Am I the only one who doesn’t want the captain to have his revealed. I mean I think he’ll lose his Aura if it happens. Ex. Obito in Naruto amazing with the mask on but coolness when down hill when mask off

  8. Idk, Bran has said that he wouldnt change language because he wouldnt be able to understand what they're saying but…. he's literally reading it? as in, there's no voices for a good chunk of the cast, so what's the difference? it's just something to fill the silence if nothing else. if he finds it distracting while trying to read then i guess

  9. has now been confirmed beyond any doubt that Capitano will indeed become a playable character in Natlan. All indicators, including the definitive Ororon voice line referencing Capitano, the distinctive sticker, and his strong relationship with the Traveler, alongside the Avatar_Male_Sword_IL Capitano reference, point towards this exciting development. Capitano's immense popularity and recognition have stemmed largely from his uniquely striking appearance, primarily his iconic mask, which has become synonymous with his identity. It is crucial that this signature aspect be preserved as we anticipate his gameplay debut. Therefore, the developers might consider adding a customizable costume feature, allowing players to choose whether Capitano wears or removes his mask. This feature would enable players to maintain the core essence of his character while granting them the flexibility to alter his appearance as they see fit. Such adaptability ensures that Capitano's distinctive charm is preserved while providing an opportunity for personalization. For those of us who cherish Capitano's masked look, fear not—he will be 100% playable. Rest assured, friends, the signs are clear and definitive.we want Capitano with his mask❤❤❤🎉

  10. 36:20 brother forgor every harbinger has different goals they would literally k!ll each other if the other one was hindering each other's goal and also we know he's from khanria like dain and our sibling so in paimon's logic his trust worthy enough. and how the hell is capitano even related to kazuha's past???????? its dotore's experiment 36:20 its just a dumb thing to say.

  11. I know people are disappointed that Capitano’s face was not revealed, but people also need to take into count certain countries have policies that do not allow the show of skeletons or death in media. One the best examples as how some characters in video games have different models, depending where the person bought the game from.

  12. I do genuinely think that the parts where Dainslef, Kaeya, Pierro and Capitano hides in their faces are actually the decaying or rotted skin, but I do also think that Genshin might not be following that kind of concept cause it's too "gory".

  13. His face/body is rotting away which is why he's covered all over, so he probably looks kinda like a zombie –
he mentioned it in a the last section of quests where he said: "Heh, even without the mask, my past appearance is long gone. Even with the curse of immortality, the flesh still rots."

I think the way they did the 'reveal' being only for IC traveler is good, cause it allows the player to speculate and have their own head-cannon.

Another thing, 'draught' has two pronunciations. I say it like Capitano, draught rhymes with caught for me and I'd write 'draft' for the other pronunciation but it would be for the same concept.
The origin of the word as pronunciation closer to draught (like caught) and draft is a "Later spelling of draught (since 16th century)". In D&D, I use both draught and draft for different potion names.

"First recorded in 1150–1200; Middle English draht (cognate with Dutch dracht, German Tracht, Old Norse drāttr ); akin to Old English dragan “to plug, drag, draw,” drōht “a pull (at the oars)”; draw"

  14. About Descenders not needing to be from out of this world. This information is what was deduced in Fontaine's world quest, BUT we don't have any official proof that this is the case. If anything, it's a theory. It's POSSIBLE to be true, but we don't have any evidence that IT IS true. Could be foreshadowing to a reveal (if Nibelung being the third descender is true, for example) but until then, it can still be treated as a red herring.

  15. I just realized…. That black like thing under the mask is not part of the mask so his skin may be black like or purple like how the spirits were in the Knight Kingdom, bc when Captain takes off his mask we can see through it and now that I’m watching it for the second time he make it seem like only the ruler of death can give out the curse of immortality like she’s the reason why a lot of people have the curse of immortality

  16. Im guessing that Hoyo did this so that they could keep Capitanos mask on in the future. If they release him as a playable character, itd give them a reason to have him as his design currently is and not have to create a face behind the mask, since the traveler technically saw his decayed and destroyed "face," thay resulted from his curse of immortality. Then he'll just forever be Capitano. OR MAYBE theyll reveal his face LATER because he said that the ruler of death is the reason for the decay? Maybe they'll show us a flash back and reveal the face then when we start Mavuikas quest in 5.3 (assuming thats when we start her journey). Because as it stanrs right now, Mavuika still has to die! Or maybe shell get a curse or something. And well have to find a way around it. Maybe whatever that "way," is that cures Mavuika can cure Capitano too? Ive no idea this is all speculation. But I'm almost certain there was a REASON that Capitano removed his mask. To build trust with us and show us what the Ruler of Death is like. But the reason WE the players didnt get to see must have a reason that will be revealed later. Im calling it now.
