  1. I dont think the celestia we see is real
The people who've manipulated the game and have tried getting there always end up in weird graphics or celestia just disappears. I dont think its just to keep us out before its time, i think its because its not real. And venti is our only way to find the REAL celestia

  2. This is a trope in fantasy and real life myths, but do anyone think of the possibility of demigods in genshin? because il capitano, pierro, columbina, and arlecchino is giving me Erlang shen backstory vibes with a twist.

  3. I think Fontaine's architecture is to Celestia as France's is to ancient Rome/Greece. Would absolutely not be surprised if Celestian Gods were called Zeus, Poseidon, Hades etc lol
Although I doubt there's anyone there right now 😉

  4. Is it possible that the place Aether and Lumine were in the beginning of the game was Celestia?, it could be why the sustainer attacked them.
Maybe trespassing into Celestia was the reason she stole their wings and power.

  5. Btw, Nahida said 'The mysterious entity that abducted your sibling is the Heavenly Principles. They are the first Descender. The Heavenly Principles HAS been quiet since 500 years ago'
So Heavenly Principles is singular, is the unknown god, and the unknown god is the 1st Descender

  6. My theorie, or rather a theorie i adopted:
The havenly principals, the first decender, the primordial one are the same thing: Paimon. Or rather the being paimon was before the cataclysm. She used up all her power, lost her memories before falling into the sea. That also explains why the heavenly principals are silent ever since, and also why the sustainer of heavenly pricipals strikes great resemblence to Paimon.

  7. Now to think about… What if Ei actually doesn't know how to properly grant visions? Since she doesn't know anything about it and also amount of electro visions decreased a lot? Maybe a knowledge about it comes with the gnosis (which Ei btw left to Yae Miko long time ago)??

  8. I remember someone made a theory that the place where the siblings encounter the unknown god looked infinite and much different compared to the one we see in the sky.
So it could be possible that the actual Celestia is not the one in the sky

  9. what if the island in the sky is just a broken part of Dyson's sphere-like structure that has shielded Teyvat from outer space before the arrival of the 2nd Decender.
what if the 3 moon sisters were just an illusion created by distortion of the real single moon's light travelling through multiple layers of the transparent shield made by Celestia.
what if Teyvat is a dying planet that loses its magnetosphere, so ancient civilization made Celestia act as an artificial magnetosphere.

    I believe Aster's idea of

"The real Celestia isn't on Teyvat."

Because the Celestia in Teyvat's sky is comparable to the 6th Heaven and there's 7 of them in total.

The 7th Heaven is where the Lord sits on his lofty throne with the 10 great orders of angels standing before the Lord according to their ranks.

In the Book of Enoch. The book of Enoch is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text. (They will probably based the 3rd Descender on Enoch.)

    – In the 6th Heaven is where the "Seven Band of Angels" and the Archangels observe human activities on Earth.

"In our case the Seven Archons, The Heavenly Principles, and the Sustainer of Heaven Principles in Teyvat."

    – They observe the influences of the stars, the alteration of the moon, and the revolution of the sun. Using an Armillary Sphere.

"That is why you can see an Armillary Sphere on top of Celestia."

    – Armillary Spheres are used TO:

    – Calculate time

    – Longitude and Latitude of Celestial Bodies (Sizes of Teyvat)

    – Different days and night cycles.

    – Different climates. (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall)

    – Basically they governed Earth. Like how Celestia Governed Teyvat.

    – They used their Celestial powers to observe human affairs.

    – The Archangels on this level will "make the orders", as "when they see evildoing they make commandments and instruction."

"Celestia guided the people of Teyvat"

    – The Archangels orders, commandments, and instruction may involve in the intervening of human affairs (Like a Guardian Angel)

"Like the Fresco we have seen on top of Sal Vindagnyr"

Since Genshin will probably mix multiple religions into Celestia. I would type more but its better to read the book.

(BOOK OF THE SECRETS OF ENOCH)

  11. Celestia reminds me a lot of the plot line to battle angel alita. I wonder if there’s a race of people up there who have been using the power of the humans on teyvat to stay immortal and power their floating island.

  12. I believe the game is more and more telling us that Teyvat is "game-like", as in literally some sort of game lore-wise.
It started in Liyue with the abodes and teapot, hinting that Teyvat could just be a huge teapot.

In Inazuma, we are introduced with ley lines and their effect to bring back memories to "reality", we even fight the Raiden Shogun in some sort of parallel reality and bring back something from the future to the past, as if Teyvat was some alternate timeline.

In Sumeru, we have small worlds created by dreams from trees, that resemble the real world. We even get to see the huge tree that is Irminsul, suggesting that Teyvat may be just a huge dream that is being dreamed by that tree.

In Fontaine, we experience the concept of an opera, a play, that not only Furina had to endure, bit Focalors as well. The Hydro Archon had to play a part to try (and apparently succeed) in deceiving the Heavenly Principles. We also see a huge rift opened by the Leviathan that straight out looks like a simulation glitch.

So what is Teyvat, a teapot, an alternate timeline, a dream, a play, or a simulation? I think that Mihoyo is going for "all of the above", and Celestia is the base of operations, or maybe outpost, where Teyvat is bring monitored. Since Teyvat is some sort of "controlled simulation/dream" or a "replay", the outcome, or "fate" is (mostly) known.

It's likely that either Celestia has been invaded or abandoned, but I think it's much more interesting that they are just watching Teyvat like they watch an opera and have not seen yet a reason to "intervene". And the twin knows that Teyvat is essentially fake and wants to change how the "replay" ends.
