Honestly she's strong either way so just build her the way you want to, meta doesn't exist especially when they keep making the game easier and easier.
However ofc people will tell you your build is wrong and then go into all this math just because they don't wanna be wrong. When in reality no way is the wrong way, she's off field most of the time anyway. Especially when used with Al haitham.
Guys, just remember to do the Nahida ritual: go to the grand bazaar, stand in front of Nilou with only Dendro Traveler in your party, change your signature to "nahida will come home"

I run deepwood 4pc. 50cr, 182cd with 868em. Because of her passive my overall stats are around 70cr, 182cd with 868em. it's a lot better than only em. Well what do you think about my nahida guys 😁
This doesn't explain anything, it really depends on her role.
As an on fielder in hyperbloom or spread she want dendro dmg and crit, her passive only give 24% cr and 80% dmg on skill only, with 1k em wich is impossible to build with only sands and weapon in em. On field Nahida also make damage with her na and ca, also she can benefit from her own burst to increase her em.
Off field Nahida want full em, for this case it's pretty simple.
My build is a crit build at C0 874 EM she was doing 37k- 45K at C1 the same build but she s doing 50K-60K keep in mind this has less EM 674 EM with 254 crit dmg and 40 crit rate and at C2 She s doing 70K-80K same build keep in mind i am using R5 widsit pretty sure i miss spell that but eh am using 4P deep wood
I have both Crit build (608 EM and 55:208 Crit with Dendro DMG goblet) and EM build (1000 EM and 40:146 Crit). The first one works well in general, as long as there's an Electro applicant in the team. While the other one works better with Nilou's team or a team with a lot of DMG Bonus buffs.
Remember, its more beneficial to have more em if you use her as an off fielder. I use her as an on fielder driver for dendro reactions, so I only need 800 em and the rest goes to crit. My raiden shogun also has a full EM build… for reasons
Bro i get artifacts with crit rate nd crit dmg but i cant get the em ones , it's frustrating and good at the same time 😭

For her own personal damage maybe crit is better, but she is a support character, by building crit you kind make her burst useless

Tip: if you have widsith, USE IT!! it’s a crit weapon and it’s passive can give up to 400+ EM

I miss my crit Nahida. But she's in Nilou bloom team now which, i heard, needs a lot of EM. So Im using Nahida EM. 🥲
3k isn't much if I have 100% chance of hitting with EM and only a percentage with Crit
