What If Genshin Impact Puzzles Were HARD?

Puzzles in Genshin Impact are too easy. But what if they were borderline IMPOSSIBLE?

  1. I like the puzzles you explained at the start. The puzzles that make you stop, think for a second, and allow you to find the solution for yourself. Those are the most enjoyable. If a puzzle requires you to google the solution, its not fun. If a puzzle makes you go on auto-pilot: its not fun.
I have very fond memories of the good puzzles, like the Watatsumi Island cube one or the optional ones in Mona's domain (2nd Golden Apple Summer Event). We need more of those. Difficult puzzles will only appeal to a certain demographic. They might be fun once or twice, but if they are everywhere, they will quickly cause distress. And in the smartphone gaming sphere, the userbase is more fickle.

  3. Some of my favorite gameplay moments were from solving early puzzles with anemo traveler solely because I couldn't be bothered to swap my party configuration. This though is on a whole other level and is just gloriously unhinged. Ten outta ten.

  4. I like the comedic effect of Moosashi getting angry when he was explaining that one GAA puzzle he went through XD
It’s these kind of crazy challenges that make Moosashi’s videos so interesting 😁

  5. Commenting before watching but one thing that dawned on me was that Natlan has like, almost NO puzzles. I miss having to work for the chest. It felt like every chest was just a group of enemies, to the point I was bored of fighting and left some for later. I usually unlock chests as soon as I see them (after unlocking waypoints)

  6. We once had difficult puzzles. The second summer event was peak puzzle design and the high point of the game when it comes to puzzles.

But people complained so much that everything afterwards was reduced to kindergarten levels. Guess I was expecting too much from a playerbase where large parts of the community won't even touch kindergarten level puzzles without a guide being available. Always blows my mind seeing so many posts in the comment section of people being unable to do the easiest stuff possible.

  7. While watching the video i accidentally gliched under the map and fell far out of the paimon barrier and found something interesting.

While falling the blue of the sky dissappeared and another blue sky but with clouds appeared.

The way i ended up there was by being in the water saurian form and swimming up against a barrier in the water at the island that isn't shown on the map in natlan. After some time i fell under the map in an angle that sent me past the paimon barrier

I know understand even more why it's so fun to run outside the map

  8. In Inazuma there were a couple where I took actual notes (like the big one in Watatsumi island and one linked together across half the sea), but after solving it I just put in the order and solved it. Unless they were something clearly hidden stuff they are super easy, I don't even read the tutorial for it, just a waste of time.

  9. I totally agree with your statement. Genshin Impact puzzles revolve around some simple logic, like finding a numeric value of a torch and light it in specific order.

I once derped in Sumeru and didn't know how to break a rock blocking a path in a cave. Because I needed a Dendrograna, but it was at trhe bottom of the cave and the rock was at the very top. So I used teleport waypoint. It turnded out that this was an exit from the cave to the outside of the mountain and I should just unlock this path from the other side xD

I love your way of solving these puzzles. It's always so satisfying to watch.

  10. Nice use of game 'features' that I never noticed enough to take advantage of! FWIW, I'm bored with the 2D circular battles in the Abyss and Imaginarium. Wish Imaginarium was more like an early domain with a variety of mechanisms, 3D platforms, etc. Would be cool to use wind updraft or electrogranums to go up to a higher platform, plunge attack, etc. Lure monsters across water to induce wet status, or across lava to induce fire, then hit them with electro. Frustrating that I can't use wind updraft in battle, and even then it's not very high. Unfortunately, Hoyo increases difficulty with restraints rather than creativity/imagination… :/

  11. 0:22 They used to be, if older community/social media posts were to be reference. The whole of Inazuma, not only puzzles, was hard. But the userbase complained so here we are.
We now get events like the recent one where we need to look for an item but the game tells you where the item is. xD
