  1. One idea that has nothing to do with primos is that as long as the anniversary event goes on they should increase the resin cap and have all domains open every day. I know it's a small thing since most gacha games that will open all farming locations at least once a month… but for genshin they never do stuff like that.

  2. you know another free too play customization focused action game that has no real endgame but a huge playerbase? warframe
you know what keeps that game afloat? the massive amount of ways that you can customize how you play it
the fact that most artifact sets are useless and that 50% of weapons have really cool buffs yet are locked behind them having low base damage due to being 3 stars is what holds the game back, you can't be a casual character focused game that doesn't release content regularly if there's only one way to play each character

  3. I have played the sh*t out of this game since october 2020, so I've found lots of flaws, some of them very easy to fix. Whenever I point them out in social media, first thing people respond is "this is a casual game, play other games or go outside". I already know that, but I really like this game and I know how much better it can be. But after this whole anniversary thing I've realised that Mihoyo sees this game as an easy cash grab, nothing more.

What I'm trying to say I guess is that I want this game to be an MMO so bad, that I'm playing it like it was.

  4. I understand that you like Mihoyo sponsor and take you money from Genshin related content and because of that you can't say this anniversary is entire shittyshow, but I sorry there's nothing good about this…

  5. Y'all seen the boycott on unsubbing to them, and giving the game a 1 star on Google play? (it's rating is 2.0 rn).
Edit:🤣 they deleted my 2 star review so I bumped them down to 1.

  6. I am totally new to Gacha so I do admit I really can't say how well I understand what everyone feels. Though, it is indeed saddening that this went to an alarming backlash point. I relate to everything you shared here. The last time I really got hooked to a game is Monster Hunter, which I associate to why I fell in love with GI plus there's my main man Wolf Boy.

I still hold faith & hope that by this coming patch program, they at least start it by a short vid acknowledging that they're now aware of what's going on and will assure that they will listen better and if they can't do a quick fix, show it to us gradually. As for what Brax pointed out on your comment there – "Prove us wrong" (he mentioned your comment in his vid).

  7. If there is one thing that I learned in life on how I look at the whole Genshin Anniversary fiasco is to appreciate what you have and be grateful for the things that were given to you. And if those toxic/demanding/whining idiots have a problem with that, they can just go f themselves. Also if it wasn't for Genshin, idk what my identity would be like as a twitch streamer but also I wouldn't be able to meet some awesome people along the way that got me to where I am today.

  8. Honestly, I wish they’d just give us 1 special free wish each for both limited and standard banner that guarantees a 5 star. They don’t have to give us a lot of wishes, a guarantee is enough for me at least.

  9. I like to use the Patricians (MiHoYo) and Plebeian (Fanbase) analogy for this, but your Celestia one seems more appropriate :'D

MiHoYo act as if they are the higher class and do not get down and personal with their playerbase. Maybe this happens with the CN community more than global? I do not know, but honestly this anniversary overreaction (and I think it has approached somewhat of an overreaction) is a result of MiHoYo's inability to simply communicate with the community…

It's been issue after issue amounting up over a year, many of which have been within the last two patch cycles and not a single word to the community addressing their frustrations… top that off with the censoring? It's obvious this was avoidable, and unfortunately people are getting harassed over the whole situation, where NO individual should be.

Enjoy your videos and your takes, keep them coming 😀

  10. Thanks for being level-headed and objective despite the saying that it'll be "unhinged".

About Teyvat Times, I believe it was the community who clamored for it to be gone, viewing it as an invasion of privacy. Understandable because it chronicled and showcased notable player activities.

Regarding the fan media and upcoming cosplay contests, while the common perspective of it being a dirty move by MHY to gain advertisement for free is true, I don't think it's the complete picture. In the perspective of the artists themselves, it also serves as a curated digital art gallery or exhibition center for them to showcase themselves and their art. In the physical/conventional sense, I believe it should be pointed out that it's not exactly easy, not to mention free, to be an exhibitor. It's just that with the advent of free and public despite uncurated content platforms such as YT, these conventional galleries have paled in popularity. Thus I see these contests as opportunities instead of threats for the artists depending on how they make the most out of it. I'm sure the exhibitors aren't stupid. The problem however was the timing and how it was communicated to us. It should not have been in the anniversary "event rewards" preview. The "events" page should have been separated from the "rewards" page (or lack thereof). Semantics, yes, but we can't deny that this was prone to and caused misinterpretation.

Aside from these, I agree with the rest especially on announcing roadmaps, feedback transparency and hoping for MHY to become consistently interactive with us players, their customers or consumers. We wouldn't have this much drama had they been communicative. Still, communication is a 2-way street. The undeniable presence of toxicity in the community is partly to blame. Let's be real, regardless of MHY acting shady or with integrity, the presence of toxic people in any community is inevitable because "one can never please everyone". It's very unfortunate that MHY's questionable decisions contributed to the increase in toxicity, many of whom are very vocal. Just look at the racism in the 2.0 livestream and the attacks on the VAs. This resulted in "the bad apples spoiling the bunch" scenario. Thus it's to no wonder that the complaints and feedback, whether valid and constructive or not, were collectively ignored and purged. The toxic people are too noisy. MHY being horrible is enough. The community need not stoop down to that level. Fighting fire with fire is not the way.

  11. a little more time of silence and CN community will find a way on how to sue mihoyo from the existing problems we have ingame and the allover response they are doing.,

players are more aware of what have been withheld and taken advantage of as they are on the other end of the game service.

Seriously a little more time, and some player will find the argument and clause to use to sue mihoyo to court if they keep the silent treatment they were doing.

  12. . I just want to see them response about this issue. Like why do they go radio silent and blocking and banning everything. As if we ask something that will destroy their company and break their bank account number.. come on is it hard to give.. a gliding wing 1st anniversary rewards huhh?? Primogems/mora/hero wit. sending mail to greet every player. Special 4star weapon from anniversary can only choose one type of the weapon? Give a special anniversary banner to make people spent? Am i so genius or just Mihoyo trying to look stupid??

Edit.. well at least they gave us something now.. 400 primo and new Wind glider. 🤣

  13. sorry the fans are ridiculous with their demands. I mean yeah it's like "i am super disappointed it is 1 year anniversary and I don't get my shipping food as festival celebration so that means genshin sucks"-just like that.
