So, there are rumors going around in Genshin Impact community that Xiao will be featured in Version 2.7 main story as one of the main characters there. Usually if the characters involved in the main story of the current version, highly likely they will get a rerun in that particular version. Just like Venti and Ayaka in the version 2.6 main story Legends of Kasen. But it doesn’t always work like that. Kazuha, also involved in Irodori festival as one of the main characters In The Legends of Kasen Main Story, but He didn’t get a rerun. So Xiao has a chance to get another rerun for the extended version of 2.6 , probably like 50/50. And also, recently he has got his signature artifact sets in the Chasm new domain, this increases his chances of getting a rerun again instead of other characters. If you want him you should save your Freemogems or Free Primogems or Free Intertwined Fates from now especailly if you’re F2P Players.

  2. Albedo is the first limited five star character to ever be featured in the launch screen art for a patch and not have a rerun. He was also featured in the event very prominently. So I'd say that anything can happen.

  11. Xiao doesn’t really have much to do with anything right now, the only think mentioning “xiao” is the artifacts domain. Usually a character would get a re run if the event is based off them or they have been mentioned at least a bit in the event. As the game so far since the liyue archon quest I don’t recall hearing much about him. So it is unlikely for him to be getting a rerun so early. (My point here is that in the liyue archon quest the 5 stars in that quest were included as reruns e.g: xiao, zhongli, ganyu, shenhe. In 2.6 the 5 stars we see in events and archon quests are kazuha, ayaka, ayato and venti) it wouldn’t make sense for them to release a rerun without them being in an event.

  20. Honestly, if Xiao truly does get a rerun, I will more than likely pull for him, cuz I genuinely don't care for Kazuha. People mostly seem to want him cuz he's meta, but idk, Xiao seems like so much more fun to play

  26. I dont think that xiao is geting a rerun because his rerun was withe shenhe, Zhongli and ganyu in 2.4 . And i think its better not to releas a character sooo fast
    agian, becaus this will give players like f2p more time to save for the character thy want.
