I have a question about the curse of immortality. What kind of immortality does it give? Does it mean they can’t die from old age, or is it something else? For example, if you beheaded a pure-blooded Khaenri'ahn, would they still survive? Also, we know that Chlothar Alberich died—how did that happen? If the shade of death couldn’t break the curse, even if it caused a paradox, then how was he able to die?
manic tuber 🤤
0:40 Paimon is Paimon
if the primordial one came to teyvat knowing the the abyss existed, even if it wasn’t currently a threat to teyvat why wouldn’t they have taken precautions? i.e creating the leylines before nibelung returned. makes plenty of sense to me
I was thinking the same thing about the curse off immortality. Ronova stated that she is but a Shade and does not have as much freedom as we may think. And she was just to bear witness to a death. I realized that she had commanded the Lord of the Night to carry out the death but Yohualtechutin refused to kill Mavuika because she had already agreed with Capitano.
So Ronova allowed Capitano to state his case since as an Angel, the Lord of the Night was just doing her job. But when Ronova was presented with paradox, she had to let go of her rule because the curse of immortality MUST stand. It's above her pay grade to deal with.
spitballing here, but remember the mimiflora. they are basically trying to integrate themself with the laylines. not sure if that was how it always was, but at least somewhat recently, the abyss is trying to infiltrate, or effect them in some way. this allows it to mimic creatures from teyvat, and know the "memeories of the land". who knows, maybe they are going to try and mimic kaenri'ah (incorrect spelling) with abyssal power or something like that.
You still havent answer my question. If the curse affects a greater plain of existence how did Guthred and rest of The Captain's platoon die?
IMO
there's two layline
a dragon's layline that got destroy in a war between Heavenly Principal and dragon
and new layline made by Heavenly Principal. (made from old, destroyed dragon's layline)
layline can't be erase or remove, it's fundamental part of tayvat
it can exist either in complete state or broken state but never disappear.
since layline can't be erase or remove, Abyss order want to reshape layline into a form that allow abyss to get in more easily.
Ley lines can counter the abyss because they counter elemental energy and memories, both of which are counter to the abyss(memories can be changed into elemental energy)
1. Bro edged us again with Primordial Sounds.
2. The ending part of this theory was a bit wrong. Here's my theory. The homeworld Lumine is talking about the world where the sibiling came from. Abyss isn't from Khanriah but from outside the universe. That's why primordial one erected fake sky barrier. Vinister king tore some parts of the barrier and allow Abyssal energy to leak into Teyvat leading to Catalysm. Probably Lumine was being tricked by Visionary, one of five sinners who is the founder of Abyss Order. He probably promised Lumine to revenge Heavenly Principle and leyline and curse stuff that Khanriah ppl are suffering. But Visionary true purpose would be to destroy the world probably. Dainself already knew this but only after he parted way with Lumine. That's why Dain is chasing her too, to let her know. In the end probably Visionary would capture Lumine and both Dain and Aether would go to save her. That's where this line comes. "Defeat me, command me to step aside, show me that you're worthier than I to save her". Source? Trust me bro :3
So I might be one of the few people who subscribe to this crack theory/idea😅lol but I think “the heavenly principles” is just an alias that whoever is currently “running” Teyvat is using since it’s the name for the ruler of Teyvat that people are familiar with !! This pretty much explains how The HP was able to both create and modify the ley lines , they are 2 different “beings” !! The 1st/OG HP (The PO) created the ley lines and the current HP modified them !! One of the more recent/solid pieces of evidence supporting this is when “yo-who-da-bitch” (aka lord of the night) mentions The HP while answering the travelers questions after we wake them up at the end of the AQ bc she pauses while saying “the m-hmmm , ‘heavenly principles’” almost like she wanted to call them something else but decided against it for some reason (probs since it’s supposed/going to be a “huge” reveal/plot twist pretty soon lmao or bc it’s someone we already know/already heard of)
Once you insert the idea that the current HP isn’t the original one (aka THE PRIMORDIAL ONE !! A PROGENITOR GOD , HAILING FROM BEYOND THE STARS) things start to make more sense like how a lot of stuff doesn’t make any sense😂bc now that the “current” HP controls Teyvat this also means they have control over Irminsul (aka Teyvats OG/most powerful “loom of fate”) as well so now they can somewhat “modify” history (mostly how people “remember” that history) like how Caribert inserted himself into the village , or how we somewhat erased The Wanderer , and even how Rhukka erased herself !! This also means that all but a very very VERY small number of Teyvat’s living inhabitants remember HOW Teyvat’s history really happened and I’m guessing that the select few people that know the actual story of Teyvat are those who were alive when the change occurred (and i’d bet all of the Primogems I have/ever had/will ever have that Zhongli is one of those people🤣🤣)
My other crack theory that goes with this is that Teyvat is in fact running in something similar to a samsara and I think the starting point is either when the current HP takes control or when the twins get to Teyvat , then it “ends” when the twins fight “the unknown god” , ends is in quotes bc yes , the samsara restarts but not in the way you’d think !! instead of a complete “wipe and restart” I think the unknown god picks whichever twin has a strong enough will to be the descender each time around as well the “best” chance to break the samsara , queue “we will always have enough time” as well as the line from Venti when he says “this isn’t the first time we’ve met” or whatever it was lol so this could be complete crack or I could be onto something 😅😂I’m not entirely sure yet but it sounds pretty damn good LMFAOOOO
What if the primodial one is the aeon of trailblaze…..!!?
I’m curious why PO chose this planet to live on (unless it’s always been controlled by the usurper and was told to go there). The planet had super strong dragons on it and was by the abyss and wreckage. Consuming that it’s been confirmed by not only this update but HI3 that the dragons were going through different universes/planets and had the tech to do so. If the PO was so strong I’m assuming they had the same tech or vast power so why didn’t they go somewhere safer?
It’s also weird how everything is laid out, 🤔 is the abyss surrounding the planet or part of it? There must be a way through since the traveler got there and multiple people seemly have gone to different planets. Also the traveler’s reaction to the abyss is strange. They are not affected by it but unusually scared of it (I don’t think the sib being evil because of the abyss warrants the reaction).
We also still haven’t learned what abyssal power is too. Like it can make people unnaturally strong but is it quantum like in Honkai or darkness etc? The traveler’s og power looks light based and since it seems like it can purify the abyss it is probably stronger. That begs the question why the sib turned to the abyss then? I wish the traveler thought more or we heard more of their past because idk how they travelled throughout the cosmos and haven’t talked about if this was normal, dangerous etc
What bothers me is…
2021: secret book that nobody knows about tells us about THE PRIMORDIAL ONE, so secret, that nobody even knows if its real
2024: everybody and their grandma actually already knows about the ancient dragons and the ley lines and aliens and the fake gods and the sky.
That sentence is faulty yeah. The way I understand it: what Yohua meant to say was that HP modified the leylines to combat the abyss, but then shit happened in Natlan and it couldn't serve that purpose.
and this was pre NK. Before Yohualblabla came to exist.
It could just be that the ley lines don't have rules that help combat the Abyss necessarily, but maybe the ley lines themselves are the rules that allow Teyvat to naturally combat the Abyss. So the AO was trying to use the Loom of Fate to create new ley lines because it would mean creating a new rule for Teyvat.
Like the Heavenly Principles made the ley lines aka the rules of Teyvat aka the game. Those rules dictate how the game is played, including preventing certain elements from being used that are already there. So if one cannot break the rules that forbid, then make a new rule that allows an exception. And many would argue that Descenders like the Traveler are exceptions to the rules.
Just the line of thinking that makes things not contradict each other. Ley lines don't have rules, they are the rules. Heavenly Principles made the rules so they can modify them, and thus no one else can modify pre-existing rules. However, the Loom of Fate makes it possible to create new rules that the Heavenly Principles can't alter because they didn't make the new rule.
We still have to get more informations about the curse of immortality but as i see it and as Capitano stated it, it was basically aimed toward the 5 sinners but in order to prevent any further abyss corruption comming from Kaenrians it was chosen to curse the entire nation innocents or not acting as a sort of quarantine. (and we already know from prior civilisation that celestia seem to prefer amputating part of Teyvat with nails than cure it)
This way they are denyed joinning the ley line preventing any of them to act as a possible "pathogen" that could corrupt it from the inside. Renova can't remove the curse or risking an abyss intrusion in the ley line but since Capitano and the souls he carry were not corrupted she could allow them to rejoin the ley lines in some ways without risking the wrath of the "almigthy" which we know as heavenly princple.
As for the abyss trying to replicate the ley line in some form. I like the "mistletoe" analogie were if the ley line are the roots/branchs of a greater tree connecting the world, the abyss may try to create a lesser form of it just to be able to graft itself on to it. Once this is done they could be free to infect it from the inside. basically the abyss leyline would be the mistletoe connected to the vasculary system of the ley line tree.
60k subs for psycho laughter!!✌️🙂↕️😂
The thing is loom of fate isn't to create the leylines it is to weave leylines means like knitting wool and we already know through caribert it is used to replicate memories so that means it will be used on irminsul rather than create it's own leylines it will just take over irminsul to change whatever order wants to achieve with that
And this is why i think descenders are all related to dreams and memories
PO is probably the dreamer who protecting teyvat from abyss through it's power of dreams it's helpers are callled shade
And it bought a giant tree that can purify the abyss and manage memories
Aether is also a dreamer how? Well if you think about it since sumeru aether is also dreaming about future events or about entities and meeting them through dreams and memories which is why aether is the perfect being who can ascend to overrule the orders of PO a being who is more human yet more god like than humans themselves meanwhile PO who is more divine than human
For instance when im saying dreams and memories is
Nicole in samsara
Being free in samsara to break free
Seeing Thrian and souls in dream
Seeing vidrfolnir and clothar in dream
These are some few examples
And when i say PO is a dreamer i mean to say Teyvat isn't in samsara it's just protected by the dream of PO who have power over dreams and memories and the natural concepts and abyss is like the thing that trying to break that dream so PO isn't able to protect humans
And when i gave the shade and tree example i mean
PO is probably sleeping under irminsul and it's powers are so strong that abyss can't invade teyvat by normal means that's why it looks for cracks and small entrances and yes i am saying PO is deep under abyss where irminsul is and is just sleeping
didn't she said modification to combat the abyss not created to do so tho no?
The fight though 😊
Congrats on 30k!
Hope for the 100k soon, love your content my boy S2!
Wait wait wait, I have something to say. The Abyss and the Abyss Order are not the same thing. The Abyss Order uses the Abyssal Power that is a merely a tool…
Have you ever thought that one part of the game where the Traveler comments on how their memories might’ve been tampered with? Could it be that our Traveler came to Teyvat by themselves?
Ley Lines are basically a huge computer, Irminsul is the motherboard.
It makes sense that this whole setup was created to prioritize defense against the Abyss, since stability is crucial (and as of right now we're experiencing the results of instability). But I don't think Abyss is a virus per se, no, I would argue that it is just based on a slightly different type of data.
Hear me out:
In my opinion it's kinda like the war between Windows and Linux users. Both operating systems have their pros and cons, but it's difficult to make them coexist – Windows won't recognize a drive that has Linux on it (but Linux can see Windows ones). And so back to Genshin, it makes total sense that the Abyss Order needs a Loom of Fate, they need a way to modify the installation, so they're basically making a custom boot device. If we treat the Lay Lines like a computer, this boot stick enables them to put Irminsul into a repair mode and perform data recovery.
If there's one thing that the whole narrative is trying to tell us, it would be not to see the story and all the fractions in black and white. The Abyss is not bad or evil, it's just different, it's incompatible with what the Heavenly Principles have created, so to avoid issues, bugs and instability, Abyss "corruption" needs to be avoided. Yet none of the sides is truly "better" or "right", the conflict remains simply because they're different.
why would then only pure blooded khaenrians be cursed with immortality? if it was about preventing forbidden knowledge (abyss or whatever) from returning to ley lines with their souls, then everyone who lived there should've been cursed with it, and yet only pure bloods are
Reasons to admit Mavuika rights:
1. She has no reason to lie
2. She's a new 5* character
3. Sibling Traveler is sus
I know what you wanna say about it
wait wait please i know this question sounds dumb and i'm forgetting something probably. but guthred and the captain's other soldiers are all dead, and they were khaenrian too. how are they exempt from the curse of immortality?
Here is a wild guess: The ley lines were a natural phenomenon, Celestia just takes credit for it and modified it, as they always do. It also facilitates a kind of afterlife. Now what is the best use of an artifical copy would be? Immortality on your terms. You die when you want to die and come back if and when you want to. That it can control pretty much anything on Teyvat is just a bonus. And the Abyss is unlikely to be an unified whole (the case of the Order and Enjou proves that), and them trying to get the master controls of Teyvat is more likely than simple destruction. Also the Primordial likely also originates from the Abyss (just from a different part) and we are actually looking at eldritch scientists trying to steal each others' research.
i turn off adblocker for these videos <3
do consider that the mimiflora of the abyss might perhaps be trying to assimilate into the leylines in order to become life but through their nature they destroy and corrupt all other life, kinda like how a virus acts when it attaches itself to a host
HAPPY 30K 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This is not accurate the Abyss and Irminsul live in symbiosis, the roots go down to the Abyss. It becomes a question of what came first Irminsul or the Abyss. One theory is that the Abyss attached itself to the tree of life and the Leylines are used to repeat the story of the past but for what purpose who can tell. Ronova seem to think that keeping the immortality curse overshadow her own rules.
This is further complicated with the past and the future existing at the same time, it should mean in theory that if you manage to change anything the entire history is changed . Further more we do not know if we have changed anything at all, or if everything happened so far in game was meant to happen.
And why the descenders were interested in this mess is not explained by a long shot in the game so far.
I honestly expected a lot more answers and I am becoming inpatient with how slow Genshin is telling it's story. We STILL to this day have no idea why teh descenders are important to Teyvat or why they are interested in Teyvats fate. Xbalanque heavily implied that what Mauvika is doing is to risky and that a Descenders life far outweights the survival of Natlan.
Maybe the lines already existed before the "abyss" and it was also used against the abyss by having their history and memories stripped from them. In the same way the hillichurls were turned into monsters due to a curse from Celestia, the abyss could be in the same boat. Their curse is tied to the leylines just like the churl's curse is tied to Khaenri'ah.
I just think its possible that Ley lines simply follow the desires of the weaver. The heavenly principles wanted to destroy/protect against the abyss, Irminsul is a collation of all thoughts and people fear the abyss and want it gone. Both of these things are the same and the Ley lines may represent that which means that the abyss order may be able to weave the Ley lines to follow their ideals and desires.
Is paimon an adult or child 💀
4:48 Yeah I am just not buying that one. There's just too much pointing in the other direction. Plus we know the translation was dodgy and it means "Heavenly Principles" instead of "destiny" there. Apart from that line the only other line I can think of linking the Abyss and Abyss Order is the religious stuff the Lectors have in voice lines. Increasingly clear with 5.3 that the two groups have completely different goals. As stated pretty clearly the Abyss Order wants to reinstate Khaenri'ah which the Abyss destroyed. The Abyss is their enemy in that sense. The Abyss Order is led with intelligence and planning whereas the Abyss has no intelligence but a sort of low cunning that makes it appear in terms that it's victims fear most? The lack of Lectors and Heralds in the Abyss' attack on Natlan. The fact that the Sibling (in the Caribert quest) warns against using the power of the Abyss to Chlothar. Enjou showing up in Natlan but having nothing whatsoever to do with the AQ. Jacob mocking the Abyss Order when he'd never mock the Abyss that way. Even in that quote the Sibling says "MY war with destiny…" not the Abyss' war. Plus the motivation of the Abyss appears to be just devouring the world. Of course this would also provide a simple answer to why the "Abyss" is creating Ley Lines; it isn't. All of these items do not feel like some sort of misdirection that will be revealed later on as just folks misinterpreting ambiguous phrases or facts reported by people who didn't know the truth. The stuff linking Abyss Order and Abyss on the other hand seems a lot easier to explain away. For example if the Sibling became persuaded that they needed to use the power of the Abyss to fight against Celestia, even though they were aware that Abyss is even worse than Celestia that would fit.
As for the Ley Lines thing perhaps the fact that apparently it's known that the Abyss exists outside of Teyvat on other planets combined with the fact that the false sky is in part there to hide or protect Teyvat from things outside, and that the Twins seem to have encountered the Abyss before, perhaps on other planets they visited, all suggest that if the Ley Lines were created before the Abyss showed up on Teyvat they might still have been built to defend against an invasion that had not yet happened, but was anticipated?
5:44 But in 5.3 we are told those same "corrupted souls" were allowed to enter the Ley Lines by a bored sounding Ronova so…. that can't be true. While the whole thing is a complete ambiguous mess it's pretty clear that in some sense the souls have entered the Ley Lines. At best maybe the immortal souls (aren't all souls immortal?) might be stuck in the Ley Lines and will never be reincarnated. Plus if the results of immortal souls entering the Ley Lines were going to be that bad even the Lord of the Night would have objected to Capitano's plan surely? The theory of corrupted souls is an attempt to explain the idiotic idea that Celestia cursed everyone despite it being (and acknowledged by every as being) monstrously unjust. My own preferred solution was to deny Celestia did the Cursing but this was falsified too. So we're stuck having no idea why Celestia would do such a dumb and unjust thing to people they claim to love and protect. Sibling says that their feelings about it are "complicated". (Another indication they are not the Abyss btw – the feeling of the Abyss about Celestia are surely very simple, if the Abyss even has feelings).
It feels a lot like the Natlan continuity mess ups / plot self-contradictions are just bad writing and will not be resolved. Natlan just doesn't feel "clever" the way Fontaine and Sumeru felt. There's rumors they changed the writing staff (but others say people are always saying stuff like that and I don't know the truth of it). The Capitano stuff feels like it was supposed to be "clever" but dropped the ball. There's a chance they will fix it by further enlarging on the story later in the year, but that seems unlikely. Well I guess some people liked the way Natlan went more for an "action packed" story.
I finally understood. Crimsom red color symbolizes death. Obviously Ronova power, but also Arleccino's too. Marana corrupions is connected to this as corruption is memory of withering and death.
This red color means corrupted data rejected by Irminsul. Arleccino is hacking and glitching, she shouldn't exist.
Forbidden knowledge is associated with dark violet, but also causes more dangerous crimsom mattery. It is written that violet Oozing Filth is already putified and stabilized by divine nails.
So yeah crimson red corruption is more dangerous than violet corruption. Traveler facing Arleccino is trembling with fear not without reason. I think Arleccino is secretly the most powerful among Fatui. She simply replaced 4th Harbinger. She's the only one who can get pyro gnosis. Nahida can't know truth about Arleccino, because she's is simply hacking Irminsul.
I once wrote that Dottore and Capitano can face gods like Raiden. I got so much hate, because people believe that archons are all powerfull and immune to powercrept
Abyss and leyline are just like Yang Ying I guess
what the heck happened to erosion
wtf 30k, should have unsub.
No, I'm not sure at all the Abyss Order and the Abyss itself is one and the same, no they aren't. They are connected not just for the name, ofc, but when the Abyss presented itself out of the Abyss Order operations it was *wild*, bent on corruption and then pure distrution of anything and all in the world while Abyss Order want something else, is driven by people, namely the Princess and the Lectors, who are old Khaenri'ahns themselves. Their modus operandi is different although the power they use in the most raw form might be the same.
So, no… they aren't the same thing at all, related but again not the same
There is also another reason to me why Ronova didn't want to lift the curse on Capitano, this way they do not create a precendent, you see if the Immortality curse on Capitano was removed, a thing thought as impossible, this means the curse can be removed from other people and if this is the case this could bring unforseseeable problem in the future, especially when (and not if) the curse and anything attached become public domain.
30 THOUSND STAB WOUNDS
So many things are wrong in this video, even conflicting the previous videos in this channel but I don't have enough of anything to pull up everything once again to write a whole essay.
My belief is that the abyss has always been a threat to teyvat, I think the dragons probably invented the secret source technology to fight the abyss way before the primordial one showed up, which is why they were arrogant enough to think they knew how to weaponize it
I believe Renova is continuing to betray the primordial one and has let the Captain enter the laylines because she knows it will give him some kind of powerful advantage
And I still think the modifications to the leylines must be related to surpressing evolution and allowing irminsul to delete memories on a massive scale
Ley Line is a Energy Grid and enhancer of Energy.
