The Lavawalker was supposedly a saint-like being who existed in the Mare Jivari in Natlan.
This lore video needs an update as the Dendro archon never died. She simply used all her power and shrank. The gnosis is what kept her alive while the Desert King died using all his power along with the archon to save Sumeru. Chiyo lost her arm in the fight with Ei and fled Inazuma. Supposedly she regained her senses.

Yes, imagine Venti was a wind spirit before he became an Archon and took the form of his friend to remember him – not as if it wasn't in one of the first quests we ever did in the game.
I guess not knowing how Vennessa looks is… fine since I honestly can't imagine you reading the manga – but she was mentioned multiple times, especially because of Jean. Speaking of the manga, ouch, the comment on Crepus wasn't necessary.

Oh I don't know, maybe because Dottore does immoral experiments on people, adults or children, Arlecchino has an orpahanage full with future soldiers, they are all suspicious af and they are possibly all murderers with something not right in their heads (to put it simply), even Tartaglia is weirded out by some of them. Speaking of Childe, is his lore still boring to you? I remember you calling his, Kaeya's and Albedo's (and some others) lore boring while they could be potentially the most interesting characters for the future.
That was when I knew you didn't know sh-t about character stories, but fine, stories are not for everyone, I get that – but don't pretend to know them then because people who actually read all that are gonna KNOW you are making stuff up
There are some other details. There is lore everywhere, in normal items, books, weapons, artifacts, domains, enemies, voice lines, story quests, Archon quests. What the video talked about was just a smaller part of a big-ass picture, and since the video is older, it didn't talk about some new important parts we now know. It skipped some of the most brutal stories, Enkanomiya and Ruu's story, which are probably some of the darkest parts of the lore we have. It explained some things, but 20 minutes or so aren't even SLIGHTLY enough to cover half of the lore this game has.

I feel like you’re not reading any of the books and optional quests.. that’s the lore you’re missing out on. Outside of the actual story quests is tons of lore.

Honestly the most heart felt sentence I heard in Genshin Impact is from Dainsleif saying, and I quote “The destruction of Khanri’ah IS the reason the Abyss wants to have revenge from all humankind.”
This is like surface level lore… Very briefly explained… Genshin lore is so deep is actually crazy… Specially because most lore is hidden from the people that only do quest and nothing more…
Like for example, dragonspine did not worship celestia at all, they worshiped something else, and that "something" gave them incredible knowledge that made them prosper greatly, and much like khaenri'ah, celestia decided they didn't liked that shit and threw the pillar AND an army at them, khaenri'ah tried to help them but they couldn't, they were defeated, that's why the encrypted message in the destroyed ruin guards around the mountain basically say "we can't stop them, they're too strong, we failed"
The civilization in dragonspine also got cursed like khaenri'ah, actually, there's a unique named frozen lawachurl (ukko) near albedo's lab, that guy is one of the assistants of the princess of sal vindagnyr, the scribe… He was the last survivor of that civilization, he was most likely also the one that buried the princess along with his box near the entrance of the cave before losing reason and becoming a lawachurl, gazing eternally into the distance…
Like, man, that crap is just too tragic, and none of that is in a quest easily accessible, but littered in the description of books, murals, artifacts, weapons, items…
this isnt all the lore and the format of the og video isnt the most intresting ( im not saying its bad). the youtuber who does the lore really well though is Klemen time( i thinks that how you spell it).
I think they mostly refer to the side stories (aka world quests)
but yeah those are pretty ignorable honestly
Anytime an archon shows strength is an exciting point in this lore. Otherwise it’s kinda bland. I do like the ‘turn on celestia’ kinda thing they got going though.
to answer teccy's question of how venti lost to signora. Venti just came out of a deep slumber, the faith in barbatos had waned a bit, affecting his power. Signora is a harbinger and also a pure elemental in a way, she was not weak. She ambushed venti after he had also used some of his strength to help Dvalin, you can see it in the cutscene (1.0 players Rise up). A surprise attack was the best way to take venti's gnosis. Weakened, surprised, and with the traveler as a hostage, venti lost. At the very end Venti tried to power up, but Signora was fast to react not wanting to miss this opportunity.

I'm looking forward to Tectone doing content OUTSIDE of genshin. Not only because he doesn't enjoy it, but also because he grew so much as a content creator since he started, he shouldn't be chained to a single game or genre to be noticed on youtube.

I 100% agree with Teccy. Genshin story is good but nothing special. Some joksters out there refer to genshin impact as the best story ever in video games and the second best thing after slice of bread. Chill the ef out.
