Btw, they hinted at the whole "traveler falling in the abyss" thing in the 2.0 trailer. If you watch closely in that trailer, you can see a few shadows in the background, and one of them seems a sort of 3-headed creature. I believe this connects to the scene when traveler was falling after being launched on the mountain.
Also, as a side note, Paimon apparently was not present in that cutscene…………….. MHH SUS
