This is a very peaceful yet somber song, it evokes a sense of nostalgia to sad and unfortunate events long since past. You hear this song and you just know something important went down here a long time ago.
Sumeru's main quest, Aranara quests, Jeht's Quests and Finally Sourush's quests along with many other side quests, Sumeru truly is an beautiful experience.
This is amazing! This, Twilight Serenity, and a couple of others are my favorite soundtracks! Fell in love with Mondstat but never expected to feel the same way with Sumeru. 🙂
Bro I feel sorry for my friends who didn't keep playing after Inazuma (Understandably tho, since Mihoyo spent months with very bad events and 0 actual lore missions). Sumeru has been such a ride, and honestly when any piece of its OST starts playing, you can't believe this is a free2play game. The love and dedication to it are mindblowing. Honestly one of the best soundtracks I've heard in any game. It has the minimal, soft sounding pianos of another era of Gacha games like MapleStory, which gives an immediate sense of nostalgia. But pieces like this, they could be part of a goddamn Final Fantasy game.
I'm so mad that this song changes once you complete the world quest. The last phase of that ost is good too but this one feels like a parent cradling their child to sleep and it makes me cry with joy
Ahh….my poor heart. I definitely can't stand to listen to this masterpiece without bringing tears to my eyes. It seems our journey in Sumeru is coming to an end, and this song is showing us the way out. Eerie and eclectic, magical and depressing, heartfelt and nostalgic. I'm going to return every time I can only to listen this melody.
Sumeru came in August 24nd, 2022… Now it's nearly a year since coming we will soon depart for Fontaine but our time and memories in Sumaru will forever be apart of us. The Forest will remember… We will remember. Thank you Hoyoverse for giving us this wonderful region and memoriable characters!
Stepping through the tomb of the late hydro archon and restoring the oasis is the perfect goodbye to the whirlwind of emotions and journeys in Sumeru. When the game is finally over in totality, I'm coming back here to remember it all. What a beautiful game.
Thank you sumeru for the memories, the laughs the tears so many memorable characters and lore it has been a pleasure of visiting although this is a goodbye this isn’t the final one ❤️🥹
why this soundtrack seems as if it were the farewell of someone important, or of someone who has sacrificed himself, or the very end of the game.??? 😭😭😭😭
I really loved this theme the first time i heard it, it inspired me to speed run the entire area i 100% everything after doing the story it hit even harder , truly a masterpiece.
The two oasis ost and dragon spine are my faves ❤❤ specifically finale of the snowtomb

I guess Fontaine will have steampunk / renaissance style to them?
