  1. This Village theme reminded me so much of old JRPGs that i actually had a bit of tear fall down when i heard it. Gave mo so much nostalgia man, Sumeru's OSTs on almost every village and dungeon sounds so much like old JRPGs.

  2. When I first discovered the village I was stunned at how good the ost is. It gives the "starter village" vibe that has been missing in the game. If Genshin is not an RPG but an MMO that can choose a village as your starting location then this has to be my first pick.

  3. I just love the acoustic guitar in these one. I rarely heard acoustic guitar in genshin song. At least the one that's not drowned by other instruments.

  4. I used a boat from Sumeru City to get to Port Ormos. Passing through Vimara Village with this music gave me memories of the Golden Apple Archipelago, now that both the first and second iterations have gone past.

I parked the boat in Vimara Village and stayed a little longer just to listen.

  5. This sounds so dreamy and beautiful. Sounds like something from a fantasy childhood show. So melodious and pleasing to the ears. I have tears in my eyes. Why is it so beautiful. Why does it sound so nostalgic despite it being a new track? Oh my God.

  6. I love how all the villages have such profound, yet heartwarming meanings to life behind them. In music, lore, and even just their aesthetic <3

Mondstadt, Springvale – Enjoyment in work

Liyue, Qingce Village – Retirement, fulfillment
Inazuma, Konda Village – Leaving and returning
Sumeru, Vimara Village – Simplicity, nature

  7. I’m 34 and The first time I’ve heard this while telling tales to the children of the village I felt like a child again for a few minutes hopping to find a peaceful place to live at, away from the noise of the city I live in, now I want to find my Vimara village…

  8. This ost sounds like a beautiful sunny sunday. On the hill in bright summer, you sitting under the big old tree, a book in you hand and a picnic basket place next to you, not far away you see those children playing and laughing in joy with their brightest smile, you can’t help but smile with the peacefulness in your heart
