  13. This is my second lantern rite. I literally joined Genshin on January first so I recently celebrated playing for a whole year. I had just finished Liyue archon quest in time for lantern rite and it was so special for me. I absolutely loved it. I'll cherish that forever honestly. I'm so excited for this next one (I'm a hilichurls hair fluff away AR57). I can't wait for Yaoyao and I've spent months saving for Alhaitham but… T . T I really want Xiaos weapon. I'm not even gonna fool myself into thinking I could get his cons and weapon though but I have enough that if I lose my 50/50 for Alhaitham I can reach 90 pity again, essentially I have him guaranteed and I look forward to it! Definitely want that Lisa skin because if its free, I shall collect lol. It nice to see Lisa's connection with Sumeru. I wish they'd have her come back for a story or something there. Or like, she'd meet Cyno and Tighnari again and talk about school lol it'd be so cute!

  20. BRUH!!! everyone's wallets including myself is so screwed and they are not giving any roo fro their wallets to breathe. But with that being said, this update is so STACKED and you know im HYPED and this is definitely something that would look forward to every year.

  25. you're right about his legs and you should say it. i appreciate that they seem to have listened to people's opinions on that for Itto but it definitely feels like they forgot to make his model's legs a bit more proportionate with them.

    i am sad about people constantly calling him dendro Keqing though.. as his inspiration is based on the Arab father of optics, the mirrors and prisms make sense, as does hyv's desire for another dps/infusion-capable character since we have so few ways to apply dendro overall. visually his kit makes so much sense and shows they did put research into the characters at least in some ways, but calling him electro Keqing diminishes this even though there are similarities. the main thing is his teleportation being so similar to Keqing and no one else having it, but in a way, the anemo boys all have a bit of a similarity between their kits, just the improvements are more outright. Al-Haitham getting infusion with one click rather than having to do two is so much handier than Keqing

    tbh i was shocked at the banner choice but my assumption is because the new region might have stuff for him and to avoid putting Hu Tao on first half during the actual Lunar New Year activities. Yelan was already paired with Xiao for her debut and i'm sure they also want to keep all Homa banners feeling like they're stacked (plus i get the feeling they don't want to do another same weapon type banner? i think only the Shenhe/Xiao version did this?). I'm glad they did this because as much as i want to get my C2 Yelan to C6, i have a mighty need for Al-Haitham and the wait would have been unbearable, especially since they make us wait for the character to be released to release their story quest. maybe since there's no archon quest and only an exploration world quest, they wanted to make sure we have something with a new character right away?

    the first lantern rite was my starting time for the game (it was REALLY weird playing the festival at the same time as the Liyue archon quest because here was this huge festival while the Qixing were looking for a murderer lol) but i didn't really get the concept of making extra xiao lanterns just to keep for celebration etc, so i literally only have five. i was so sad that we didn't get the ability to craft them again in the second one, and looks like for the third we still won't be able to (i wouldn't mind if they were a different shape, i just want more).

    i actually don't like Lisa's skin, but i'll still put it on her since it's new. of the free ones, Fischl and Ningguang's are my favorite, and i like all of the paid skins (extra love to my boy Diluc and i'm glad he was honored to get the first 5* skin). Ayaka outfit is Inazuma style/patterns, but based on depictions of Fontaine women in light novels, so it really is a way to combine the nations' cultures in a believable way. i can't wait to get it because it is so cute and Lolita style too, one of my faves. since you were shameless saying Al-Haitham skipped leg day, i gotta say that her skin kinda makes it look like she's got bloomers/a diaper on lol

    anyway… i am sorry for leaving a long comment, especially since i just realized this whole time i've been watching you, i wasn't subbed >.< also all the Eula mains you called out in your chat..! my peoples! i've seen so much Eula slander the last few months, i miss her. also also, your hair is very pretty <3
