Well, it appears that the time has come once more. The plans for the upcoming banners in Genshin Impact have changed quite a bit. Especially with the new regional banner which was added by mihoyo in version 4.5. Anyway, I wanted to give you a heads up so you can plan your pulls wisely with the limited primogems we’ll be receiving. Hopefully, you’ll have enough primogems to wish for your favorite characters. Before we dive in, as always here’s a calendar to keep track of when each patch is dropping, If you’re curious. Just keep in mind that the dates might change depending on whether mihoyo decides to delay or shorten a patch. Now, let’s start with the update 4.6, As you already know, Arlecchino will be the new character introduced in this patch. We’ve already caught a glimpse of her drip marketing, and oh boy does her burst look good. In my opinion, it’s one of the most visually stunning bursts I’ve seen. If you’re curious to see her burst or gameplay, you can search for it on Twitter or X. You’ll find plenty of videos there. Unfortunately, I can’t post it here, as you know. But anyway, alongside Arlecchino, will be lyney’s rerun. I’ve already explained why I believe he’s getting a banner in this patch in my previous video. Several trusted leakers have hinted at his rerun, and it makes sense given that he’s getting a banner alongside Arlecchino. Moreover, he plays a significant role in Arlecchino’s story. Many players have been waiting for his banner. if you’re one of them, you can expect him to rerun alongside Arlecchino in the first phase of version 4.6. For the second phase, you can expect the rerun of Baizhu and Wanderer. But anyway, let’s talk about version 4.7. There will be two new characters introduced, Clorinde, a 5-star Electro sword user, and Sigwinne, rumored to be a 5-star Hydro bow character, possibly a healer. Keep in mind that sigewinne’s rarity is just speculation for now. since we know nothing about her. For clorinde, she already did some actions in the archon quest, we saw, she had an electro vision, and was wielding a sword. We’ll likely see gameplay leaks for Clorinde and Sigwinne shortly after version 4.6 goes live. I don’t know why mihoyo is releasing them this late, even though they were one of the first characters we met in fontaine. Many players are eagerly awaiting for their arrival, especially Clorinde, which isn’t surprising. I mean come on, almost the entire community is waiting for her, and i bet mihoyo knows that. Such a sneaky move by them. but anyways, clorinde and sigewinne will both be the new 5 star characters in version 4.7. Sethos might get his first banner in this version, i don’t know if this rumor is true or not. Sethos will make his first appearance in Cyno’s second story quest in version 4.6. According to Mero, a trusted source, Sethos is slated to have his first banner in a 4 point x patch, specifically in the Fontaine patches. So, it’s possible we might see his first banner in version 4.7. For now, we only know his rarity, which is a 4 star. Details about his weapon or vision are still unknown. However, he might make an appearance in this patch or in version 4.8. Furina will also have her first rerun in version 4.7. You might be wondering why, since Archons usually rerun four patches after their initial release. That’s still true, but Furina isn’t getting a banner in version 4.6 because she’s no longer an Archon. I won’t spoil much for you, so if you haven’t completed Fontaine’s Archon quest, finish it to see for yourself. So, since Furina isn’t getting a banner in version 4.6, she’ll definitely rerun in version 4.7. For version 4.8, it seems we’ll only see two new characters, both of them being 4 stars. Emilie was initially planned for version 4.8, but according to the latest information, she won’t be featured in 4 point x versions. This means we’ll only see her after the Fontaine patches have ended. Instead, we’ll encounter a male character from Fontaine, described as having a medium-sized body similar to Cyno’s, Tighnari’s, and Venti’s. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about his vision, weapon, or name, only his rarity. Additionally, there’s a mummy girl expected to be introduced in Cyno’s second story quest. She comes from Sumeru’s desert area, but all we know about her is her name and rarity, nothing else sadly. Hopefully we will learn a lot about her in cyno’s second story quest. Moving on to the 5-star characters featured in version 4.8, they’re all reruns. Navia will have her first rerun, while Nilou and Alhaitham will each have their third. There’s also the potential for Cloud Retainer’s first rerun.
