UPDATED! Version 4.5 to 4.8 Banners Roadmap Including Reruns – Genshin Impact

Well, looks like it’s that time again. There have been big changes in the plans for upcoming banners in Genshin Impact. So it’s better to let you know about it so that you can plan your pulls with the limited primogems we will get. And Hopefully, you will have enough wishes for your favorite characters. If any of you are interested in when to expect each patch, here is a calendar for you. Remember, the dates might change depending on whether hoyoverse chooses to delay a patch or shorten it.
Let’s dive into the first part of the 4.5 update. In this update, a new five-star character named Chiyori will be introduced. i believe her drip marketing will drop on either next monday or tuesday. In the current version 4.3, we had an event called Roses and Musket, where we saw that Chiyori carries a Geo vision on her waist. Although she seems to be a sword character for now, we’re not certain about her abilities and gameplay. Some speculate that Chiyori’s skills will focus on Defense, which is common for Geo characters. It’s believed that her Elemental Burst will boost the strength of shields triggered by the Crystalize reaction, making her a potential support for Navia, who also utilizes this reaction. However, it’s wise to be skeptical about that kit until more information is confirmed.
The first phase will also feature a rerun of Albedo, another Geo character who scales with Defense and is known as a great support for Navia. i think Albedo’s last rerun was in version 3.1. This man definitely deserves that rerun plus so many players are excited to see him again.
Moving on to the second phase of version 4.5, there will be a new banner system introduced by Hoyoverse called triple banners. The details are still unclear – some suggest it might involve three banners per phase, other suggest it might be three phases per patch, and there are some who mentioned the possibility of character reruns during their birthdays. As i said, The details are still unclear. Now moving on, The second phase will see the confirmed rerun of Lyney, as trusted sources have verified. This rerun pattern aligns with Mihoyo’s tendency to rerunning new characters before a new region, with a few exceptions like Baizhu. Now for the remaining 2 characters. those characters are shenhe/ganyu and wriothesley. For shenhe and ganyu, it’s bit confusing. Listen, both of them are getting a skin in the upcoming 4.4 update. Like we saw with ayaka. Ayaka’s skin came first then came her banner in the next update. So that means one of them will rerun during this patch. If i were to guess which one it would be, then i would choose shenhe. Shenhe had a rerun before ganyu. I could be wrong though, but Expect one of them to rerun during that patch.
Now, version 4.6. Arlecchino is confirmed for this version, likely featured in phase two banners. Furina is set to have her first rerun, following hoyoverse’s pattern where archons rerun four patches after their initial release. This assures us that Furina will indeed rerun in 4.6, so it’s a good idea to start saving up if you’re interested in getting her.
In addition to Furina, Neuvillette is also expected to make a comeback. These two characters will both appear in the first phase banners. For the second phase, Cyno will get another rerun. Yes, another rerun. Why? because he is getting a new story quest in this patch. for the last character, expect nilou. So the second phase will feature Arlecchino, and both the reruns of cyno and nilou.
Now, turning our attention to version 4.7, we will see two new characters, Clorinde, a 5-star electro sword character, and Sigewinne, a 4-star hydro character who is probably a healer. i’m not sure but that’s what the rumor say. i don’t know why mihoyo is releasing these two so late, considering they were among the first characters revealed in Fontaine. Nevertheless, in terms of expected reruns for this version are, Ganyu. if she doesn’t rerun in 4.5. Itto, Wanderer and alhaitham are likely to make a return.
Lastly, version 4.8 won’t introduce new five-star characters, according to leaks. All five banners will be reruns featuring Kazuha, Eula, Klee, Navia, and Kokomi. it seems like they might have a reunion once again.

    4.4 ~ Xianyun & Nahida / Xiao & Yae Miko
    New 4* Ga Ming is confirmed!
    The potential for new banner system(s) will alter banner predictions: birthday banners, triple phases with 2 characters each, double phases with 2 or 3 characters respectively, etc. A new banner system(s) is not 100% confirmed.
    4.5 ~ Chiori & Albedo / Lyney & Shenhe & Ganyu OR Wriothesley
    Chiori synergizes well with DEF scaling supports like Albedo which makes his rerun more likely!
    Shenhe and Ganyu skins will be available in 4.4, therefore their banners cannot be far behind!! Shenhe is an amazing ATK buffer for cryo so her rerunning alongside Wrio or Ganyu is expected.
    4.6 ~ Furina & Neuvillette / Arlechinno & Cyno & Nilou
    Furina is anticipated to make her first rerun in 4.6 as MiHoyo is known to follow an archon rerun pattern.
    Cyno’s second story quest as well as a Sumeru themed event is predicted.
    4.7 ~ Chlorinde & Ganyu OR Wriothesley / Itto & Wanderer & Alhaitham
    New 4* Siegewine is expected.
    Note that 4.8 is limited to rerun banners only.
    4.8 ~ Navia & Kazuha / Kokomi & Klee & Eula

    I am throwing in my two cents here!! I highly doubt that Klee and Eula will appear alongside each other again in 4.8 as they did in 3.8. They are not highly anticipated characters. MiHoyo will make more profit if they replace them with another rerun character. Overall the banner predictions are just that…predictions! We can only make our best guesses.   10. Nilou I am coming for you . Ok three patches of saving then , hopefully I will get enough primo gems for her since I used a lot of my savings on Raiden only 48 left and more to save again to have at least 100 wishes or more like 160 fates for Raiden

  12. I will prob pull for nahida,neuvillette,furina and probably kazuha
    I’ve already saved for a guaranteed nahida on 4.4 banner.
    I am on a beginner account, i have about 3 months till neuvillette and furina reruns so i will grind hard on story quests,events(like the lantern rite) and other stuff for primos.
    Hopefully i will have enough to also get kazuha,but i’m not too sure

  24. I would be wary if they did banners for character birthdays…. sounds l8ke a good reason to not have someone.
    Especially when Albedo was the only one that didnt have birthday mail this year. Yes genshin did the splash art video idk..thing but no mail for global players.
