Probably everyone has already pulled on the 4.7 banners and is now just waiting for the 4.8 characters. So, in this video, let’s take a look at which 5-star characters might be in 4.8, as well as predictions for the 4-star characters.

Let’s start with the more or less confirmed banners.

According to the information from Full Stop Chan, in the first phase, we will get Navia and Nilou banners. Navia still hasn’t had her rerun in the Fontaine patch, and both of these characters are in the main event in 4.8. On top of that, Nilou is getting her new skin in this update, so this lineup makes sense.

As for the second phase, we will get Emilie release banner, which is quite interesting since most of the time new characters appear in the first phase. But what is more interesting is that Yelan is getting her rerun here.

Overall, those banners are not that bad, but what concerns me is that we don’t have a Wriothesley banner even though he was released earlier than Navia. According to the Mihoyo pattern, all characters released in a certain region should get their rerun before that region ends. But as we can see, this rule didn’t apply to Wriothesley.

Now to the 4-star characters. It’s funny that it’s not that difficult to predict at least some 5-star characters who will be in the next version, while 4-star characters are quite unpredictable. But still, let’s try to do it.

As I said earlier, characters that have been released in a region should get a rerun in that region. With that logic, two characters we might see in 4.8 are Chevruse and Charlotte. Chevruse was released in 4.3, while Charlotte was released in 4.2, and both haven’t had their reruns.

The other two characters we might see in 4.8 banners are Razor and Mika. Both of these characters’ last reruns were in 3.8, exactly one year ago during the summer event.

Another character we might see is Kirara. We haven’t seen her since 4.2. Also, she is participating in the main event in 4.8 and getting a new skin, just like Nilou. Her skin will be given for free, as well as a copy of her, so I think there will be a lot of players who will try to get her constellations after getting her skin.

Finally, I think Kaveh has a really good chance to rerun in the second phase in Emilie’s banner. He was only in one banner in 3.6 and never had a rerun, so I think his banner is the most likely among all the characters I mentioned.

Now to the Chronicled Wish.

Unfortunately, there is no info about it from any data miners; it’s not even mentioned. So does that mean we won’t get it in 4.8? From a developer’s point of view, giving a Chronicled Wish just right before Natlan might be a good idea, since there’s simply not enough space to rerun every old character in Natlan. But how many people are going to pull on this banner if it’s in 4.8?

I think most people will save for Natlan or pull for someone like Yelan rather than trying to get someone from the Chronicled Wish.

But if we are getting it, then it’s probably going to be Liyue-themed.

  16. I just beg they'll either put Nilou in second phase or don't rerun her at all, because I can't get payment so early and I need to work more to get her c6. Also it would actually be more logical if they kept the "rerunning regional characters" stuff, and gave us Wriothesley with Shenhe.

  27. I'm so depressed after losing my 50/50 and getting diluc… I had 139 wishes saved up, 80 gone to diluc.. I thought I'd win this 50/50 too and save rest wishes for future banners but I lost it.. and I was so desperate that I even used all my remaining wishes to get guaranteed furina

  29. Pls no chevreuse on any of the 4.8 banner
    I dont plan on getting any of the 5 star there 😂 and i need 3 more copies of chev to c6 her
    I recently got clorinde accidently in 20 pulls 0 pity 50/50 but i only want thoma cons 😂
    So pulling for 4 stars on a 5 star banner u dont want to get is really risky 😅 (but its not like i dont want her at all its just that i already have raiden so i dont really feel like getting her but yeah shes here ig i should use her too… and shes still level 1 😂)
