Hey everyone. In this video, we will be talking about every upcoming banner and rerun from version 5.5 to version 5.8. These are just my speculations based on leaks and earlier patterns by Hoyo, so take it with a grain of salt. Before we dive into it, we are also giving away one Welkin! Lets start off with Version 5.5, which will introduce Varesa, a new five-star character from Collective of Plenty. She’s said to be an Electro unit, but her weapon type and playstyle are still unknown. Since Electro hasn’t seen many new characters lately, Varesa is likely to bring something new. Iansan is also expected in 5.5 after being rumored for previous versions. She’s likely a four-star Electro character. Alongside Iansan, we’re also expecting to see Ifa, another four-star character, but we don’t know much about him yet. For reruns, Venti is basically fully confirmed for 5.5, as he is the last Archon to get his rerun, following the Archon back to back rerun pattern. Other possible reruns include Mualani or Kinich. Xianyun is also a strong contender, based on Abyss buffs in 5.4.

Moving on to Version 5.6, a new Fontaine five-star character is expected. Early translations of her name is Effie, but beyond that we don’t know anything about her yet. Dahlia, a four-star male character, is also expected to release. As for reruns, Kokomi is highly overdue and likely to return, alongside Emilie, who will get her first rerun.

Version 5.7 focuses on Skirk’s official release. Many expected her to become playable in Snezhnaya due to her Abyss ties, but she’ll debut in Natlan. Current leaks suggest that she will be a Cryo DPS character, but its not confirmed. There is also Mavuika, who will get her first rerun in 5.7, likely alongside Xilonen, following the usual Archon rerun pattern. Yoimiya is another strong possibility, as she’s often included alongside Archon banners.

Version 5.8 will be the summer event patch and the final update before moving to Nod-krai. This patch will focus entirely on reruns, with no new characters added. Citlali is likely to get a rerun, as she’s the only Natlan character without one, if the leaks turns out to be true. Summer events typically centre around specific characters, but without knowing the storyline, predicting reruns is tricky. Who are you saving for? Let us know in the comments!
