We recently wished for Neuvillette and were able pull him on our Spells Only account. But since I feel that all the recent Swords / Spells Only videos have either been pulling characters or me just failing in the Spiral Abyss, I wanted to take some time and give Neuvillette a dedicated video as we build him.
This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it’s time to begin this journey as well.

the defense rolls were so real😭 two of my neuvillette pieces have 19.7% defense
as a Yae Miko lover/ main 🙂 if you want a sub dps/ skill support yae this new set is good for her :))) just so the other artifacts don’t go to waste 😃

Hp is really good on neuvilette and almost as good as crit
you could put that double crit atk circlet on Wriothesley if you don't get any better options! he also wants Marechaussee Hunter and it'll give him 36% crit rate. plus his ascension stat is crit damage, so you have a little wiggle room with crit stats.
edit: charlotte is a cryo catalyst coming out next patch, so you could get cryo resonance and give Wriothesley more crit rate! then focus on crit dmg substats
artifact farming is nothing but pain. on my very first run (farming for wrio) i get a crit damage circlet with crit rate and atk% as substats. the other one was em. i start rolling it, the new substat is def%. okay maybe it wont hit def%? and it didnt! you know why? because every single roll, with the exception of +16, went into em. +16 did go into crit tho, and i was thinking of using him in melt anyways, so its not terrible but im still kinda mad
watching you struggle with spiral abyss makes me feel a bit better abt myself, over two years in and ive only recently begun challenging floor 11 lol (altho i havent been pushing super hard for all the best artifacts, characters, etc)
we just love spells only :DD
By the way, Neuvillette with an hp goblet or circlet can work fine because he ascends with hydro dmg 🙂
