Meh, personally I'm not a fan of the business suit direction mihoyo is going for with ayato.
I had hoped he get more of an armored look like ayaka.
He looks like a standard Yaoi character. Fine if you are into that, but I don’t really see anything special or noteworthy about the design.
Seeing a lot of people say they don’t like him now. So basically a repeat of Itto hype like I expected🤭 I want to see more of his personality tho before I make my final judgments

Lol leakers have been winning, everyone kept saying things like leak hunter decree. But then we get leaks like weeks and even months earlier for banners and other info.

The last time I was hyped about a character was when the hu Tao leaks came around since then no new character interested me ayato seems cool and al but if he isn’t absolute fun to play and decently broken i probably won’t pull for him if he comes before a kazuha rerun if he comes with kazuha I might pull for him after I got kazuha and if he comes after kazuha i will decide based on his playstyle and role
I hope he is like tartaglia and can switch fighting styles

mihoyo is pretty smart tbh… they're leaking stuff themselves (reddit) and then responding with official stuff (like the tweet) so that ppl will feel bad for them.. and start to turn on "leakers" for "ruining" mihoyos plans. it's actually pretty brilliant of them. now many ppl will start to blindly defend mihoyo and attack 'leakers' and anyone who 'likes' the leaks. most of those 'blind' ppl will never understand what's going on and defend mihoyo until death lmao. it's unfortunate, but majority of people are easily manipulated.

But genshin always does this don't they? they usually posts new characters right before the new patch.. new characters for 2 patches from then.
I LOVE his splash however I like the quick swap play style and the leaks point to him staying on the field longer than my Ei which I’m not sure about. Any elemental katana so far has been top tier aka Ayaka, Ei, and Kazuha so so have very high expectations with this one. At the same time, my bro might get him especially if he has a lifesteal mechanic (hydro so I’m assuming there will be at least one healing mechanic for him and let’s be honest Tartaglia is not a typical hydro user so it only makes sense he wouldn’t have one). I’m hoping my bro does get him cause I still want to pull for Ayaka. He’s guaranteed for Kazuha and I’m guaranteed for Yae Miko. We both have Ei. If we get lucky we will be able to have Ayaka and Ayato meaning all the samurai plus the Fox as f2ps
Its disgusting how leakers always do this and i feel like they have no mercy for this poor company no wonder why they gave garbage anniversary rewards cuz the genshin community is even worse then this company alone
