Nice comparison! Thanks for this! I’m still not sure if I wanna invest in this game just yet because I don’t like how the developers seems like they heard every Genshin and Honkai impact players complaint and said “write that down! Write that down!” to make ToF. They’re target audience are just Hoyoverse haters with severe gacha addictions and it’s already giving me some red flags about the integrity of this company. But that’s just my opinion, I’ll give it a few months or so before I consider joining.

I hope genshin can add a specific area or maybe an island where any players with the same server can interact there- chat, trading artifacts, exchanging/giving moras, etc. not only limit to 4 players😃
the only thing about ToF is our character with big booba
the thing with genshin impact is that it has an extreme lack of content and the multiplayer is the worst
I always loved mihoyo and my favorite is Honkai Impact 3rd but in Genshin I feel that they disappoint although not in quality
Gonna add my two cents because I just cant stand the genshin impact fanboys trying to cancel the game: here how I see it. If you liked GI but are curious to try out something new, give it a spin for free. Dont fall into the gacha system, just try it out. IMO, the game is entertaining enough to give it a try, especially if you can play with friends. However, you also need to be real: it has come up with a few bugs, and as a new game, we still cannot say if its going to improve and add enough content to warrant you participating in its gacha. GI in that aspect is much better, since it has cemented itself into its market and you can be sure it will keep pumping characters and new zones. TOF we have yet to see what direction theyre going to take. So, in summary, dont listen to the haters because "I think the company is trash" or its a copy of genshin; genshin is a copy paste from botw and look how its done. Remember, its f2p. You lose nothing except download time. Let the haters cope with another new patch, theyll shut up when theyre finally entertained with something :p
yeah, genshin's animations are better, but as far as i know, the creators of tof dont have any games similar and years of experience. hoyoverse had honkai first, and then the animations for the characters from the launch of genshin to the most recent are significantly better. comparing jean's animations to say itto's, his is notably better and more fluid
As a swimmer, I love looking at how games animate swimming. I can say both of them are very wrong, but Genshin did closer to actually being able to make you move effectively
In my opinion, this video is kinda biased toward ToF, but I do see some points
Tower of fantasy adding too much shit in their game that dont even make sense together is their desperate and pathetic way to be better than everyone else and then failing miserably
Just give ToF sometime to polish up since it’s a brand new game and hope the developers listen to feedbacks and continue to improve the game with new features, characters, story etc

Heres what it is hahaha if u want to just have fun, play with friends, taking some pics and witness a great story then go Plau Genshin Impact.
But if u are a hard core player who dont just want to have fun but also to be a competitive one which u can flex ur skills and to compete with other player then play Tower of Fantasy.
Thats it no bashing whos better and not lol haha both are diff genre anyway. If u love single player RPG with coop then Go play Genshin. And if u love MMORPG then go Play ToF

Why do you sound like you're doing live commentary for a sporting event and not a game comparison?
It's the same as in 2004 when I started playing WOW and later GW2 and FFIV started to appear and a lot of people started to think that these would kill WOW, but even so far it hasn't happened and I'd rather play WOW than GW2 or FFIV, although the latest expansions are shit. And not because of nostalgia, but because WoW has more to offer. It's the same with GI now, no matter how many so-called competing games appear, they still won't be able to compare with GI because it's too addictive even without much content. TOF still has a long way to go before it reaches the level of GI.
ToF's combat system and sci-fi design is the only unique part imo, other than that it feels the same as GI with doing dailies, resin cap, events etc… Also Bygone phantasm aka Spiral Abyss is ok but you'd have to invest alot of time if you wanna reach higher floors to compete with the whales so it's rlly not F2P friendly in that regard.
First of all, I've tried both games, so let me give you my personal opinion.
Background and sotry plot part, Genshin Impact takes place in the fantasy world of Teyvat, which is home to seven nations, each of which is tied to a different element and ruled by a different god. Tof is set in the far future on the extraterrestrial planet "Aida", contaminated with a mysterious but potent radioactive energy. However, in terms of narrative details, genshin is plentiful and more completeness, with clear logic and fascinating. When watching the plot of tof, I usually choose pass.
Characters setting part, Genshin mainly has a ratio of 2.5 head body, which is a lovely style, while tof adopts an adult ratio. And some sexy waifus really make many men flipped. I choose tof for this part, after all, who doesn't love waifus? ! lol
In the combat fight effect part, genshin and tof both stand out, and the skills of each character are impressive, such as tof's annabella, baiyuekui, etc.
In the core gameplay part, tof basically copied genshin's core gameplay, but my favorite part is that exploration gameplay for genshin, which is challenging and requires you to rotate your brain to solve problems, so exploration is less engaging than tof.
In the gacha part, both games have very low probability of gacha, for F2P players, it takes a lot of time to accumulate Ore and red nucleus, for top up players, watch your wallet lol.
