They’re fairly close in damage comparison, but it looks like ganyu is still higher
Edit- I do however think Tighnari will be on par, or slightly weaker than Ganyu, given they have a fairly same build. Im no theorycrafter or whatever but with the dendro reaction, one charged with tighnari is atleast 60k (25k+22k+15k). Ganyu hits 100k with reactions. But with Tighnari’s skill, (with this build and again, if they have the same build) he’s doing 60k really fast 3 times. So thats 180k. Then if you add his burst, it becomes higher. Idk that just makes sense to me- if I said something wrong please correct me
Ganyu is my waifu, playing with her for few months and loooving her. pulling her c1 next rerun instead Tighnari xD i would concider him if she wouldnt be waifu tho
As a soon tinghari main this is cool I don't mind the hates others said about tinghari I'm still gonna pull for my boy tinghari😁. Like my boy kazuha before hoyo release him in global others said he sucks and sucrose is better than kazuha and they'll skip kazuha first banner. But after they realize that kazuha can do so much things and he's like a god tier support they suffer waiting for he's next rerun and watching others enjoy kazuha😂. Let's just wait for 3.0 update
people who say that tighnari is really really bad compared to ganyu are liars and just waifu lovers, he is certainly a little weaker than ganyu but to see in 3.0 with dendro reactions
Tignari is very cool and goes well with Miko, which I already have… But I'd rather get Zhong Li since his shield has no analogues in strength. And there will be many more dendro characters: dendro-archon and Alhaitham, for example. And then also their reruns, as it was with the characters of Inazuma
I think we don't need to pull him because the difference in his play style is not too much compared with Ganyu. For the damage, Even TIGHNARI has his signature weapon it is still not worth changing Ganyu for him.
Tighnari is not good or bad in my opinion. I mean he is a copy of Ganyu and a little bit of Yoimiya combined together but Dendro, because notice how C6 Ganyu give her a charge atk after she uses her elemental skill, and Tighnari does the same thing C0. However, Tighnari's DMG will mainly come from Dendro reactions and Hoyoverse will definitely buff EM next update because of the new reactions coming with it.
His single target he will do way more dps than ganyu when he drops in 3.0 Ganyu does aoe So both will shine in different situations Therfore both are equally good no difference between them

Can you do a comparison between both of them with their signature weapon and f2p build ! That would give us a clearer picture

He’s pretty good, considering he will be a standard character with standard multipliers, I wouldn’t mind losing a 50/50 to him.

Ganyu's focused on area dmg while Tighnari's kit focused on single target which is good for annoying bosses like the serpent
