I’m personally rolling for hu tao, and if I get Thoma, that’s cool too. I just wouldn’t raise him since I have Zhongli and resonance for pyro isn’t the best if you’re going to be using Thoma with Hu Tao since +18% attack isn’t that significant since Hu Tao has a verrrryyy low base atk stat. Just my input, he could be a good support just don’t expect god tier support from him like what you’d see on Bennett and Xingqiu, tho I believe if you invest enough into any character they’ll perform well 🙂 Good luck on your pulls everyone!

You could c6 Hu Tao before pulling a single copy of Thoma and that reality is why pulling for 4 stars should never be recommended
I don't have Zhongli for my Xiao so I'll pull for Thoma and get Bennet in the shop

My pity is not guaranteed 5 star. I’m not too interested in Hu Tao because her play style isn’t for me. I have 30 wishes saved up for Thoma 😄 Currently in my wishlist (that are possible in this banner) are Diluc, Bennet, and Thoma

at first i kinda didn't want to roll on the hu tao banner cuz i already have hu tao and and i have the guaranteed 5*, but after seeing Thoma's animations i wouldn't mind getting a c1 hu tao if i get Thoma along the way
I'm not rolling for thoma for two reasons.
1) I'm close to pity and already have Hu Tao.
2) Rosaria banner flashbacks.

The way I see it Thoma is best only for 2 things: shielding, pyro enabler.
The only thing we don't know for sure is his ICD. If he's another Yoimiya, that's it. I'm not pulling for him. Else, he'd be great for any melee character (except electro ones) that uses normal attack and needs pyro.

So I made a new account nd didn't waste any of my resources till now. But I don't have any good character, nd I am already in adventure rank 25. So I need a good character to progress in the game.i have 32 interwined fates till now.
Should I wish in Hu tao banner to get something or should I collect even more fates to do wishing in the event.

With Thoma being able to enhance auto attacks by infusing them with pyro, you can now build a team of Xingqiu, Baal, Thoma and Albedo for maximum enhanced autoattacks.
Meanwhile I have c5 rosaria with no Childe, or Barbara cons and also no Kokomi. Shocked people spend so much money on this game!!

I really like thoma. but like i REALLY like him. the thing is: i dont want Hu tao and im saving for albedo! so i dont know! i dont want to wait until other banner because that happened to me before and now i am a ar56 without bennett (the only 4star i dont have)
Definitely agree with Envi here. I rolled just one 10 pull on Ayaka banner with guaranteed that I was saving for Yoimiya because I wanted Yanfei, and I got Ayaka in that first 10 pull (40ish pity). I had already decided I would be okay with Ayaka, and I love her now, but they definitely can come that early sometimes.
I promised myself that if Thoma won't come home, then I will not do his hangout event then.
Even if you say no, we will kidnap Thoma no matter what 😔
Rolling for 4-stars is terrifying. Xingqiu evaded my account all the way up to AR 55, so when he returned on Kokomi's banner I decided to give it go. Since I didn't want Kokomi and I had 30 rolls stacked from Raiden banner, I decided on, at most, 20 single pulls. And on my FIRST SINGLE (31st pull stacked) I got Mona (thank God).
Now with banner 5-star guarantee, I'm skipping every character banner until Albedo or Xiao because I will never forget the sheer terror I felt when I saw gold on a character banner I didn't want.
That's my horror story for low-spenders chancing on 4-stars. Don't forget that after this patch they enter the Standard banner and you can see the 4-stars on future banners (while rolling for other 5-stars) as well, even if they're not rate up characters (I got 2 Razors on Raiden banner, for example).
