  1. I actually wouldn't mind it if they gave us something to do in the down time. Give us something to attack that will bring the boss back, make it a bullet hell, spawn some mobs or at least make it a cut scene

  2. Maybe design enemies that gang up on you and hit you with one frame attacks with corrosion. I’m sure if they want the game to be hellishly difficult, they can.

  3. I went here in stroy with low hp melee Explorer team without healer and died, as there is no warning that you will end up in a boss fight 10 minutes later, then I had to watch the WHOLE STORY AGAIN took me 8 minutes skipping all the dialogues to come back just to fight that annoying piece of shut with a main team.. That killed all the hype I had from the story

  4. Annoy and hard are pretty different things. Those corrosion wolves, specters and this new bosses are not hard but annoying. It’s ok to get hard enemies but not annoying enemies.

  5. Dvalin is the first and probably the worst offender. Thankfully Ganyu can deal with it. BTW, Ganyu, who you dislike, helps a lot in these fights. Not all of them though. For Thunder Manifastation it is Ningguang, because you cannot aim at that thing either. Genshin for me is just a "pass the time until Blue Protocol" kind of thing.

  6. Seriously though, I never hated fighting a boss as much as I did in this event. Wasted so much time. I can now understand why Rex Lapis hates even seafood, which reminds him of Osial. He must’ve been as annoying as his wife💀

  7. The game should be balanced around end-game players.. Players with low investment shouldn’t be able to clear the most difficult content in the game! Having invulnerability periods for enemies in a “time challenge” is just a cheap and low effort way of slowing down high investment accounts.. Very frustrating!

  8. I don't really think Signora is good example of enemies running away from players, as the only time Signora runs away is when she hits 40% in her second phase, which is even scripted meaning you can anticipate it, and then not waste any abilities beyond the 60%.

  9. I'm not an expert gamer or anything, I only play gacha games and the only pvp game I play is TF2, but in my opinion, I'd like the enemy to run away or dodge or block my attacks, it gives ME the rush of pursuing and timing, of course this isn't the case with Beisht. In genshin the fights I enjoy even until now (AR58) are Signora, Azdaha and the Lightning Manifestation, I used to enjoy fighting Childe back then but I can just 2 shot him with Hutao now so yeah that's a shame.

My point is I don't think the "run-away" or dodge mechanic of bosses is bad or underwhelming or anything. The main reason most boss fights are so boring in Genshin is balancing in my opinion. Low level player simply cannot beat the bosses like us long-time players. However I do agree that fights that force you to wait to damage the enemies is bad, but again, low level players won't experience this because they have to actually go through the phases since they're not strong enough to just 2 shot the boss like us. So it all comes down, again, to balancing problems.

  10. I don't see this as a problem, invul phases in bosses have existed for a long time and seeing as this game is both gacha and cross platform involving mobile there is probably no way to get the balance right no matter how willing you could be. At low/mid/unlucky gear tiers, these mechanics provide rythm in fights and should absolutely be part of timed-event (story is more arguable) to make them accessible to most players.
The real issue is when things like this appear in game modes involving a timer because then it screws the whole concept of a timed fight even more than how flawed that concept already is in a gacha where progression is rigged with time gated grind and RNG rewards (staring heavily at current abyss there).

  11. I mean typically this is what players wanted in the first place, make the game really difficult and challenging, but now opinion changes, now they pls make it easy, this is too difficult, this is so hard, like I mean seriously? Make up your mind people, and also the community what do you expect what content do you exactly need for the enemies?

  12. 100% I felt this exact way it's boring design and it's annoying. Event boss is biggest culprit. I don't mind phases in bosses as much as I can still build energy, but being untargetable for 10 seconds with no challenging mechanics to dodge? Bleck. How does this get past beta.

  13. Yeah, you made me realize that I've been saying "come on. Come on…" to the recent enemies, waiting for them to finish their antics and attack me closely again (if applicable). The osial boss, I thought they added new moves other than those in the archon quest to make it interesting and challenging, but nope. There's so much dead air, just waiting and dodging around

  14. mihoyo doesnt listen to his community they just do whatever they feel like its necessary!they are time gated abyss now with actual overworld bosses and they think its fine and fun but its actually made me give up on the game the only thing i ever do is dailys and the almighty time gated events that consist mostly long dialogues and thats it.the only thing mihoyo does correctly is the releasing of the brand spanking new characters and re running characters that are part of the meta at least mihoyo having its own fun generating big azz revenue while we just literally spitting on their game.

  15. We’re getting way more mechanical and dragon shaped type enemies as we progress through the updates. Well ig it’s reasonable since we’re nearing sumeru, which has highly intelligent educated people, or so called wisdom.

  17. the worst part is they purposely make that kind of enemy just for them to be put in spiral abyss im talking about magu kengki with a long ass stance that cant be dmg, thunder bird & wolfs that constanly moving position clearly the dev doesn't want us to clear spiral abyss
