  1. I’ve always been mentally critiquing how well the roads and infrastructure is, how defensible the games castles/cities are, and whether there’s enough farms and small towns.

  2. I feel like Fontaine has more corrupt nobles and organized crime. So there’s not as much street crime or robberies, and more white-collar crime and conspiracies.

  3. I actually think about the pathways all the time. It's like when you look at old versions of "open world games" which just have big but empty maps. Teyvat kind of feels like that in a lot of ways once you actually LOOK at the land and world. I also binged their videos recently because they're so right on a lot of this.

I agree with the Diluc part because I don't think he would want Knights at the winery but at the same time it's used as a venue from time to time and he doesn't have his own private security (at least not one we know of; I guess it could be people from that network he's in). I feel like he would be required/expected to allow knights to be present during events that use the winery as a venue unless he hires out his own or solos it.

If I recall, Reekwind is literally called that as a nickname because he was a slacker who "didn't care much for his appearance" (stimky no showers) 😭 Apparently choosing to get himself together led to his forgetfulness…

  4. Jokes aside, I'm fairly certain Genshin just follows that unspokem rule of game design where (especially for Open-World games) "The map you play in is a microcosm of a greater world, your imagination can fill in the unseen." as in you can't Actually walk from Mondstadt to Sumeru in about 7 minutes (characters like Kaeya treat it as a multi-day journey). Like Dunyarzad's family is apparently of somewhat higher standing than the average Sumeru citizen and lives in another town or an estate of their own but you can't actually ever go to or even see it, and of course there's more cases like this for just regular traveling npcs or such, implying there are plently more towns and housing story wise it's just gameplay wise we don't see more people or towns/housing for the sake of said gameplay (who wants to spend 4 actual hours traveling from 1 town to the next, unless you're into Death Stranding which I hear is quite calming).
This is just something a lot of people seem to either forget or not even think about nowadays, Pokemon is a good example where the Kanto Region isn't actually the size of a small town that could be walked across in minutes and their towns don't only contain 6 people and some houses that are a singular room.

  5. dont let this woman analize IRL trade lmao the routes are ridiculous and convoluted too, theres areas you need to go around for miles because thes no roads made for that cargo lmao or actually going at night when theres no people to move stuff, if you have seen those big cargos at 1 am you know

  7. I would Love an event wshere we get missions by the local authorities (favonius kniights, xising, corps of thirty etc) where we need to improve the roads and infrastructure of teyvat. Just me? ok I will leave

  8. The first thing that set me off about the way Hoyo's team handled the trade/npc/road route worldbuilding, was when we first went into Sumeru. It is a very pretty path for an adventurer to go through, with a Statue of the Seven being one of the first things that welcome you there (mainly to have the Dendro power available immediately.) But the whole time after exploring Sumeru's border from the Chasm and around that, I got more confused on how it all worked.

I just assumed after visiting Port Ormos, that the region only traded via that massive dock.

  9. I agree with this video but it's also very common for forest/mountain paths to suddenly stop and start somewhere else because nature grows back on them. So the random paths/stopped paths in sumeru make perfect sense to me haha

  10. Not to mention Tsarevich. I feel like he is in the wrong place. Also, the way every Fatui I've met says in-game, including Tarti, Señora and Teucer that they will take a boat home. Makes you think their nation is an island far far north when people like to say it's connected to the rest of Teyvat via land.

  11. I didn’t look at the time stamp when I opened the video and as I comment this you’re starting on the rest of the videos and I am so excited that you’re watching bee’s stuff! She’s so creative and funny!

  12. I would argue Fontaine has the most crime out of all the nations or at least the most laws that require jail time since Fontaine has the largest prison out of all of the nations.

  13. Just wanted to say, just as I think it’s important to make this distinction, having a fucked justice system or one akin to Fontaines, does NOT discourage crime nor result in less crime.😅😂

  14. The road from Liyue to Sumeru is the one that goes through the chasm (the one from the Caribert quest). I will never forget that road because that was how I got to Sumeru the first time lol~
