This video is simply here to give you perspective and help you weigh your options carefully. At the end of the day, only you know what works best for your account and playstyle. Don’t let anyone else dictate your decisions. whether it’s Mavuika, Arlecchino, or any other character, choose the ones you truly enjoy and want to play.

First, let’s get one thing straight: Mavuika is an Archon. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned from Genshin Impact’s history, it’s that Archons are never a bad investment. They’re not just strong characters, they’re game-changers. Each Archon brings unique mechanics that fundamentally shift how the game is played.
Let’s look at the previous Archons! Venti: He revolutionized crowd control. His ability to group enemies together makes AoE damage and elemental reactions far easier to manage.
Zhongli: His unbreakable shield isn’t just for survival. it lets you play more aggressively without worrying about taking damage.
Raiden Shogun: A powerhouse that bridges DPS and utility. Her Energy regeneration keeps burst-reliant teams running smoothly, while her own damage output is also incredible.
Nahida: Her Elemental Skill marks enemies and enables crazy reaction chains like Hyperbloom and Quicken. She’s a must-have for Dendro teams.
Furina: While not technically an Archon story-wise, her gameplay says otherwise. She buffs your team’s damage, heals, and even dishes out significant Hydro damage herself. Her utility rivals any Archon we’ve seen.

And now, Mavuika. While I won’t break down her entire kit here, if you’ve seen her beta gameplay, you already know how versatile and powerful she looks. She’s an Archon who promises to bring something entirely new to the table. Her beta numbers might look exaggerated. or even underwhelming. but we’ve seen this before. The true potential of an Archon always comes to light once they’re officially released.

  2. broooo if Mavuika need the top buffers and debuffers to powercreep she is actually trash!!!
Raiden: needs Kujo sara bennett and Kazuah to do max damage (3 S-tier supports)
Neuvillette: needs Kazuha/Zhongli and Furina to do max damage (2 S-tier supports)
Mavuika: should only need one support and herself since she already debuffs (1 S-tier support)

  3. I had a tough time pulling for C2 Zhongli and only managed to get him to C1. He's my absolute favorite character and the reason I started my Genshin journey, so now I really need Primogems to keep going! 😢🙏 Would greatly appreciate any support to help me get him to C2.

  4. They intentionally countered the Archons though. They added Spectres that couldnt be pulled in by anemo and started putting heavy enemies like the samurai to counter Venti. Zhongli was countered by Rift Hounds, Bond of Life, and other mechanics. Baizhu's healing and dendro output potentially makes the better pull than Zhongli at this point,j ust as Kazuha offers more versatile grouping while also buffing more than Venti. The remaining archons (Furina, Raiden, Nahida) are uncontested.

  5. I’m skipping mavuika, especially after seeing her beta gameplay, picked up neuvillette, and yeah.. even if mavuika bannner lasts the entire patch, I’m still skipping, not even going to try 50-50 attempt on her banner..

There are some crucial reruns coming, and I will concentrate my energy there.

And yeah, if mavuika really proves to be that game changing, (honestly doesn’t looks like so.. ) I will give a shot in her rerun..

  6. Definitely skipping, this will be the first archon who instead of opening up more options for teambuilding, restricts it by requiring additional Natlan units while bringing absolutely nothing new, she is just the 8th or so pyro onfield DPS, and as an off field DPS she is just no match for Xiangling without massive cope. Xiangling hits twice as many times with a similar multiplier plus has Gouba and Pyro Shred.
I also don't want a character who can't use the Energy Recharge rolls on artifacts but also doesn't need the ATK% (her passives provide a lot already) nor much of the Crit Rate (set gives 40). Good luck rolling all artifacts with 30+ crit damage and no other stats.

  7. versatile? powerful? unsub dislike, mavuika is the worst archon, her restriction to just natlan = useless previous and future expansions of the game investing in mavuika is investing in nothing

  8. The big problem with Mavuika is that she focuses too much on Natlan mechanics. She is also quite strict with the team members and wants Xilonen best. But we don't just play in Natlan.
The problem of many Natlan characters based on the use of phlogiston/nightsoul, etc.
Arlecchino doesn't care where I use her.
I will definitely first check what their kit offers outside of Natlan. Archon or not, she first has to prove that she is worth the investment.
And if not or only half convincingly, then with her rerun, which she will have at some point. I don't think we'll have to wait as long for them as we did for Wriothesley. 😉
