This Is Why Events Are Temporary In Genshin Impact #shorts #genshinimpact

Most if not all events in Genshin Impact are temporary, and I have a good idea as to why that is! Let me know if you like events being temporary, or if there’s any event you wish was permanent.

  1. Genshin tcg needs more time to develop. I know it's just a small part of the game but I really like card games and I could see there's a lot of things that they might add. Just wait for it 😌

  2. there's lots of permanent things in game that dont get attention that people still do, abyss, hangouts, story quests, you could even consider domains to be a "permanent event" what matters is that there's content you'll do and some you won't, thats it

  3. I wish the events with major character development, like last year's Weinlesefest where we finally learn more about who Razor's parents are, and Albedo's release event where we learn about the fake event, and also the event where you'd first met Scaramouche, were permanent. Because I personally believe the story elements of those events should've stuck around as, for instance with Razor and Albedo, a continuation (second Act) to those characters' story quests. That's imperative information that players should have permanent access to, especially if they're interested in the characters.

Because here's the thing: If it wasn't for the glorious yet shitty invention called the internet, no one would know those events existed, NO ONE. If the internet didn't exist, so many new players would be left in the dark about these characters' stories. And I think that's the perspective that MiHoYo is missing. I don't think they understand that half of the players only know about those events because of the internet allowing older players to share their experiences in playing it. Once MiHoYo finally understands that, I think they'll finally decide to at least make the storylines of those events permanently accessible.

  4. a lot of us wants permanent fighting things like abyss, harder or being able to choose difficulty, maybe make it like elysian realm in honkai impact, theres just not enough content in genshin to keep you playing, and not enough reason to pull for charcters when all content can be cleared with a lvl 1 aether

  5. We utterly despise the fact crucial events tied to the story are merely temporary, it causes us to completely lose immersion when the Traveler knows something we didn't because we were expected to play the event, and how for F2P players character events that reward them might be the only reliable way to obtain them, but the banner is just gone forever.

  6. I mean, I do wish that some events got a rerun (especially if they have a lot of hidden lore…as a new player, where the heck did “fake Albedo” even come from again?

  7. Gmod Prophunt exists and people still play it.
I bet Windtrace will still have players even when there's with no rewards, it's a fun game. And Hoyo can occasionally bring back the coin thing for Primos as an event.

  8. ffs, they really should release the tcg as a seperate game like mtg arena and an actual physical tcg like mtg. given hoyo's pockets, I will not be surprised if they get heaviear after dropping a few dozen bucks.

  9. This probably has to do with "hedonic adaptation" or in other words, it's always gonna be there and we get used to it. The hype of temporary events is because they are new and fleeting, so there is a human tendency to take part in limited events because they only last for a certain period of time and will be gone sooner or later.

  10. I guess it's has something to do with people having short attention span. New things always get all the attention but as time goes by, we get bored because of repetitive gameplay.
If devs would continously add updates then the memory storage would increase dramatically.
