I hope this doesn't end up like the Teapot where it dies after people reach a certain threshold. After people reached Trust Rank 10 on the teapot, they mostly used it properly for like another month and then it just became a realm currency shop. I hope they keep adding more cards and people keep buying them and playing. It has a matchmaking system which could add to longevity so there is hope.

I had no expectations of it but it really does look dope. I just don't know how willing i'll be to put time into something with no rank or rewards. I see them adding ranked or fill matchmaking with actual bots more so the bots tbh
I really hope we will at least get a personal statistic we can check or match history where we can see matches won and lost.

This looks really promising, with a really good system. And there's matchmaking. Perfect.
I just hope they keep it updated with fresh cards and sets so the winning meta doesn't emerge and become stagnant.

Kinda disappointed that there arent any summonable monsters and other entities, but still excited nonetheless.
I am curious as to how they will proceed with expansions to this mode (which according to leaks will happen a few times before 4.0), considering other TCGs usually relied on monsters with newer effects and mechanics to spark up the meta.
The fact that they can make a card game of this quality is kinda sad. I feel that they can make an endgame content out of this world, in terms of quality fun and challenge, but they just wont…
Card games are alright, but I remember when the teapot came out they had “exclusive battlepass” blueprints. If they do the same thing with cards, especially if some card is a broken card I’ll be pretty disappointed.
If it's like gwent from the witcher 3. I might consider to come back to GI.

Man, they need to keep updating this game mode if they plan for it to be permanent. Maybe add more cards, and leaderboards, etc. and funny enough, we have end game

they need to make it a game like dedicated seperate app
they should also add new cards in future patches buffs and nerfs ( as this doesnt really affect the game outside this minigame") but they really needs to add some good rewards to make this relevant, mora and level up mats are good but will not make it relevant and event talents mats will not suffice
a good reward will be artefacts and resin though people will feel the endgame artefacts than they already are
primogems will be limited
this is a good chance of adding new items to the game that people will farm for( please be repeatable and farmable) like artifacts reseter( i doubt that they will add that)

I just hope they reset the rotation so people can play it again with different deck maybe, even reward with just mora or some random mat, it's still better than what I currently saw, same with abyss, but now cards. But base on what I'm seeing, it's seems like another 1 time thing, exactly identical with teapot. Then it probably just good for, 2 weeks, after I've already done all, there's no reason to return.

OK sure but I didn't download genshin impact to play a card game. I think the current generation of gamers have loose screws in their heads. That's like if I downloaded a racing game and be hyped about the devs releasing a basketball mode as a permanent content in that game. Like wtf?

As long as there is match making, I can see players pvp each other and content creator can make this whole thing a sub content for their channel pvp ladder within own community to win price etc ever month or so.
This is giving me a major Gwent hangover……hope it's as engaging.
