This Hidden Feature is Actually USEFUL! Genshin Impact

There have been a lot of quality of life updates that have improved and streamlined the Genshin Impact experience and this one is actually great for optimizing artifact loadouts and equipping them super fast.

  1. Custom Fast Equip: 18seconds+ and requires a lot of setup and searching.
The loadouts that we ACTUALLY want: 1 click, 1-2 seconds

Why are they trying their very best not to give us loadouts? 😂😂😂 All this effort to create a "loadout system" that, frankly, is not a loadout system. It's still so much clicking and searching involved.

  2. The fact that it saves your fast equip filters is good, but now they need to add the ability to save different fast equip presets and we're as close to having real loadouts as we can get. That's the biggest reason we need them – different builds on the same character.

  3. The main thing I would love added to the custom config is the ability to set a stat goal. I mainly want this to get the right amount of energy recharge without having to go in and manually check alternatives.

  4. It's beating around the bush for the QoL the community is ACTUALLY asking for. I want to set a specific weapon/artifact set, and I want to click one button to automatically equip it to my character. It's actually so simple, it's insane. They are going to extreme lengths to NOT implement that for some reason, even though the system has existed in their other games for nearly over a decade. As a veteran that understands what characters need, and already has everybody farmed-for, I will never touch these systems. It's useless for me. For new players though, I'm sure it's really neat.

  5. Not sure if you really do read this, but since you asked, here's my thoughts:
The fast equip feature is conditionally good as it does balance the stats which we prioritise on the character (balancing the crit ratio whereby most people ignore the CR), but it's definitely not the best option. It only considers the personal stats of the active character, and disregards the party member team buffs which does increase the active character stats.

E.g.: In a Ganyu-Bennett-Nahida-Kazuha team, Bennett increases Atk, Nahida provides up to 250EM, Kazuha buffs ~40% cryo damage, and Ganyu buffs her own CR after the first CA. Depending on the value of these stats, Ganyu will need a different main stat piece for stat balancing. Always remember that to achieve the highest numbers, stat balancing is utmost important, and over stacking on one stat will diminish the return in damage. Not forgetting there is 2nd artifact set for Ganyu as well, Shimenawa, which we need to consider the conditional buffs and damage comparison between the substats value when determining which will provide the highest average damage.

In short, the fast equip system is simple to use and user-friendly for new travellers, but it's also too simplified and lack of settings + other factors to be considered in the equation, like whether we want to maximise Ganyu's CA or her burst damage (depending on this the artifact choice and stats priority will change).

  6. no I don't like this feature. Without custom loadout, this will always be an incomplete project. It has some potential but also need a lot of development. Why restricted to only 2 artifact sets? There are 5 different artifacts that give +18% ATK, how could I ever combine those? Custom loadouts for different builds is also a huge demand, would make our lives easier. It's also easy to implement in the game, 2 loadouts for example are more than enough per char.

  7. As someone who never used this feature I can definitely see use of it when I get a new character or when I get an older character that I didn't have yet, even though I don't have as many useful, leveled up artifacts as IWTL. I appreciate the tutorial, since I'd probably never use this feature if no one showcased it to me.

  8. They should add a 'SAVE CURRENT SET' option in which we can save artifact sets for each character so that when we change party and use that option, we get the artifacts that we manually selected and saved.

  9. How to know if your artifact rolls will roll something good or not: flat rolls would be a 4/5
    hp attack and def% are a 3/5
and cr and cd are a 2/5 you're welcome (I'm talking about the times out of 5 it may roll into that stat)

  10. I have two completely different builds for my Xianyun, one is a support build and the other is a DPS build. i wish i can just equip both on her and just switch between the two (artifact loadouts) instead of that feature. Me and i would assume a lot of people don't have billions of artifacts laying down to make full use of this feature AND all be leveled to 20 and have a decent to high quality at that. even if this feature is "faster" its still not usable to me in my current end game account. All my artifacts are used and level 20 the rest are just fodders to strongbox or EXP. can't really benefit from this feature and hope they'd bring artifact loadouts so that i can have pre-built sets on a certain character.

  11. Yes, this feature is useful when you don't have knowledge about the game or artifact what you need or what other characters do when we can use this. As for us no need for any other like s*it system optimization.

  12. Been using it since day one, but it can get a little wonky when you're still building the account. Like if you have a 4* Sands available on set but don't have a 5, it will just put an ATK% Goblet and use the 4* because it has the same main stat. Even if its unbuilt. For accounts that have been around long enough to have decent pieces of everything its very nice.

  13. I 1st saw this feature & I can't understand it. So I didn't mind about this feature. After your explanation, this feature is kinda good but one thing I wish is for 2 custom figurations so that I can equip 2 different sets depending on my team comp.

I recently got Neuvi & I'm using Raiden with Em build. It'll be more helpful if there's a feature to save both my Emblem Raiden & Em Raiden

  14. Dude why no one talking about TEAM loadout?
Team selection as of right now is completely useless, you got 15 teams, it would be faster to just quick select 4 members.
How about a system that remembers artifacts and WEAPON for each team, when you change team, weapon and artifacts auto changes.
Also why can't you choose team loadout in the abyss???

  15. For players that went through the trouble of using Genshin Optimizer, some sort of loadout would be much preferred.
For for characters you never play, and just want a decent build, this is a great feature.
Personally, I try to keep three teams built, and several characters built on a generic build. Then I'll touch my character builds only when there's a new Abyss by using the Optimizier.
The truth is that I barely touch most characters, even if they have levels and talents built.

  16. First ever positive review of this feature. I mean yeah, it isn't what many wanted. Personally, as probably many others, i know pretty well how to best equip my characters.
But that being said those really are great additions especially for more casual players. Or whales who can clear abyss in 14 seconds anyways.

  17. I really appreciate this feature as most of the time the ideal artifacts for the generic builds are provided by quick configurations while I can have a niche build saved under custom configurations. It's good as it is but it can very easily be a lot more better.

  18. It just came too late for me, I already know how to build well enough for most situations and I'm already am familiar with most of my artifacts, specially on-set/off-set goblets and the statistical outliers. I still don't have enough artifacts to not know if I have a piece for a certain situation when it arrives. When I reach that point, I'll just waste 10 extra seconds looking at the VV feathers, because, well… are you even playing Genshin if your time isn't being wasted somewhat/somehow?
