  1. I collect characters because it extends the life span of the game. I’m always out collecting ascension materials, artifacts and weapons, and I never get tired of daily commissions because I rotate my characters to collect their name cards. This is my kind of fun.

  2. AR58 here. I kinda broke free from this cycle when i saw i have way too many characters and not enough resources to build them all. So i was thinking using my primos (welkin+BP) on getting constellations of my favorite 5⭐ on their reruns instead of new characters, but idw if i'll last that long.

It's hard when there's nothing to look forward to. There's no endgame, no rewarding co-op content, leaks don't hype me up anymore. Exploration is awesome and the best part of the game but it's a 1 time only thing and when you're done you're back to the boring daily 15 min grind. Maybe i'll take a break when my welkin runs out idw.

I spend more time in genshin's social media than actually playing the game lol.

  3. another vid of valk speaking facts but all the other big YouTubers just feed into the "fake hype" with bullshit modes mihoyo throws out…we need them to go on a strike or something cause man….this game is dryer than the Savana desert.

  4. valkyrja: (talking about how players have fallen into A trap by basically paying mihoyo for characters)

  5. for me 2.2 has been my favourite Inazuma uptade yet. New characters arent content, new islands are. Tsurumi island was, for me, miles above anything else in Inazuma, its almost on par to Dragonspine back when it came out. So 2.2 is amazing despite everyone just calling it a filler patch.

  6. Exactly.
I can’t get excited for a new character anymore, because I know that I will not have any meaningful content where I can play said new characters.
It’s so annoying to me how the community suddenly forgets all the company’s and game’s problems as soon as a new cool character is announced

  7. Haven't played in 2 days… I think it happened to me, I'm burned out. Almost AR57, 14 characters built and no excitement for future units after getting so disappointed with Inazuma characters in general, farming artifacts is not rewarding, building units takes way too long, same dailies everyday, time gated content, the game just feels like an utter waste time and worst of all I still love the game 😞

  8. Upcoming characters are an excuse to build them pre-release. The thing that players should do is min-maxing characters that we already have instead of farming for newer characters because once that new character is released, people are going to be disappointed if they are weak compared to the characters they already have, which is disappointing.

  9. Although content is a vague word, i still think character building and what not still falls into that category, we are spending our time theorizing or discussing characters and how well they will work, etc which on itself is FUN.
Of course i would want more types of content but that won't stop me from having fun for whatever activities i can do that are related to the game.
although i agree people would get over excited about a character and pay money but i have come to terms that i shouldn't care about what people do with their money, this is a free game and people are allowed to play it for free or spend some money.
personally, i would like if every person didn't spend money until mihoyo gave us more types of content, not just minigames, etc but that's just being too naive. Welcome to gacha games, where there are a lot of standards that shouldn't exist but players allowed them to exist by spending money, i have to just accept that this is this type of game.

  10. Teapot is the endgame content duuuuhhh… And r34

Ok, maybe also serious comment. As I agree, endgame content is needed, I disagree with somewhat exaggerations "this game has no content at all" and such. This game has HUGE amounts of content, you can sink into the game, exploring, doing story, side quests, temporal events and so on. People spend days, weeks, months, had great fun and emotions, at least run out of content and complaining. Bruuuhhhh… It's more than a lot of other games that cost a lot of money. If you've done everything for now, feeling bored or whatever, it's nothing special, you can do something else now, touch grass or play other game, whatever. Also consider that not everyone is hardcore players. Many appreciate the tempo that Genshin has today or even are struggling with how much you have to do/can do.

So I would not complain very much but only appreciate how much Genshin has content and how much can we expect from releasing new regions and patches. At the same time, yeah, Genshin would be just much better with more fighting endgame, which also might be in co-op. I suppose and hope they will add something, maybe previous and current events are tests for it. Also we could have some minigames and more ways of interaction. Also teapot could be more interactive. People could even entertain themselves with their creativity, roleplaying and hanging out. Just give possibilities. Like people making Sayu race tracks in teapots now. There is still so much potential in this game.
