Just when I thought I had a break after completing the Archon quest, this event's story and OST hit me right in the feels again 😢😿
I thought it was going to be a simple event with Fremenet. A simple tale of helping a child with a mental health problem to solve.
What I didn't expect was a beautiful story of a mother, grieving and being stuck in a fantasy, finding a way to finally say goodbye to her son. Losing a child is rough, but moving forward is the biggest obstacle. I love how this story handled a way to finally say goodbye and move forward.

Freminet's last line in the quest absolutely destroyed me for a good 3 minutes.

This event broke me a little… losing a loved one is honestly terrifying, and moving on from it means you’re incredibly strong
when I'm played the mission make me crying about mom and her lovely child that's is the best mission i have ever played i will never forget abot the mission🥹😭😭😭❤️

This limited event is really one of many few that highlight NPCs' sad stories
My mom passed away when I was 11 so this quest made me cry so hard. You can’t keep doing this to me mihoyo. So far most of fontaine has made me cry, it truly is the nation of hydro 😭
You can backlash genshin all you want but u can't do the same for the story and music
this event really struck a chord. im grateful that the message of the quest came across well and delivered emotions that i could feel so deeply. i will cherish my memories of this event for a long time. anyway, lovely piano that i can accompany my reading with.
