Salt and betrayal
I was excited for the 10 free wishes.
But not I just feel like… Mihoyo, I love the game, I love the story.
I dislike the gacha system.
I pay to play, but not much.
I love the combat.
But please…. seriously. I was expecting more.
Even a mini game for the players to compete in or an event to have fun with friends, and not just using the player base would be fine.
As someone who plays Genshin with friends, I love co-op.
But still….. this is just…. ugh.
I can’t describe my frustration here, but I’m sure some people understand.
I’m not meaning hate… I just dislike some aspects about the game.
Am I the only one who's still hopeful there will be in game rewards? I don't understand, mihoyo been runing those community events with pathetic rewards for ages. Why should this time be any different?
My expectations for MHYO right now are chilling with the Lector at Khaenri'ah. 🤦♂️

It would've cost them almost nothing if they gave us a choice of the normal 5* like diluc qiqi kequing mona or jean…..a TINY minority buys gems with real $ to roll on the normal banner 99.9% of the community rolls on the limited time banners……these videos would've been a praise to myhoyo for giving their first 5* that wasn't a promotion (alloy).
the thing is i know this guy has been saying for a week that there will be a better reward, keep your hopes up………. that's disappointing mihoyo, you're gonna lose your player base even if it is a top notch game

I don’t want to defend them but there’s a slight glimmer of hope. The wording implies that this is separate. This is the rewards for the anniversary community event, not the anniversary itself. I really hope I’m right.

Reading these anniversary rewards made me sad. Players would have been happy with a single 5 star original character. Players who are unhappy with the anniversary rewards should think about closing their wallets. This is the only way to get Mihoyo's attention.

I feel something doesn’t right with Mihoyo as they might replace PR team or some balancing teams?
Even Archon quest in Inazuma is so rush and the storyline doesn’t feel so impactful!!
Fun fact: most people have a 0% chance of getting the anniversary rewards because not everybody is talented and most people wont participate because of how ridiculous the reward chances are
I don't see how the community can recover from this treatment by MiHoYo. The consistency in being silent on the topic or addressing this fiasco is extra annoying.

The worst thing is a lot of kids and people with too much time will be participating in these events.
If I was a content creator, artist or cosplayer I wouldn't participate in this free publicity stunt.
The financial department of mihoyo genshin is ruthless. I remember the anniversary rewards from honkai impact being amazing (free S-rank selection, free background, skins, tons of resources and tons of gems you can get just by playing). Compared to the genshin anniversary it's almost like 2 different companies.
if i’m being honest, i’m really hoping the tables will turn and they’ll give us a surprise or something. i started playing not long ago, but i know mihoyo was really generous and all. they always gave so much primos just for maintenance and bug fix compensations, and this is nothing compared to that. the real celebrations were when we got 300 primogems from update downtimes. i hope they have something up their sleeves because i think its unfair to those who buy battle passes and monthly welkins. theyre the ones keeping the game alive and all were getting is 10 fates and maybe 100 primos and 10% chance to get a welkin.

If they don't change this soon the lifespan of the game will go from 5 plus years to 1 or less
maybe they're giving such bad community rewards so that the slightly less stingy anniversary rewards seem good… if we even get those

The actual Aniversary starts on the 28th so I will reserve my opinion until then.
Maybe from their perspective its like:
"this is our anniversary, our birthday…you guys should be the ones giving us gifts etc"
hence the shameless free advertisement web events.
I am so disappointed tbh.. Even though I tell myself that "it says anniversary community web event, meaning this is for the online community part only right? maybe there's something else in-game" but seeing how they treat the community i don't really see any kind of hope anymore.
