38:26 I don't want to spoil anything from more recent events but when Scara said "the sky is a lie" he meant it literally. This is less of a correction and more of a lore deep dive but the whole "sky is a lie" concept is more about the world structure of teyvat! (ie Teyvat might be upside down or literally encased in a dome) We've seen some more of that in 2.6 and Enkanomiya if anyone is interested in it!

Might just be jumping the gun and you might explain this later, but Qiqi is actually REALLY powerful. She was alive way back in the Archon War and got caught up in the middle of a battle in between multiple adepti. She was killed in the crossfire and was revived by the adepti who felt guilty for what they did. However, the immense adeptal energy she now has caused her to go on a rampage so the adepti had to seal her for thousands of years. Baizhu discovered her and revived her and is keeping her partly because he wants to know the secrets to immortality. You are right that we don't know much about Baizhu but what we do know is that he's sick and does have a weak body. We also know from Qiqi's story that he's not 100% a good person.
