  1. Artifact grinding would be a million times better if they cut the resin cost of it. There a ton of RNG involved in artifact grinding to begin with and I would legit grind some sets away until I had some crazy stats on them. I can't do that because they cost resin and that mixed with the horrible rng makes things just the worst. Resin is already spent in so many ways letting us have free artifact grinding I feel wouldn't hurt

  2. I feel like if it didnt cost resin it may be better because i feel like its annoying having a resource that is so randomised be capped by something else so i feel like resin shouldnt be needed

I feel the problem with artifact is not the stats, sure that suck, but getting the artifact you need in the first place is a big headache, i have a kaz with a 4* VV part and a random artifact part cause i cant even get artifact for the slot i need, the few i get are with useless stats like def or hp and i am getting usually like 1 for the slots each 5-6 runs…

    They should make it 1 of each set in the domain per run, sure you still dont get the slot you need secure, but at least the pool is smaller instead of 10 possible artifacts you have 5.

  4. The artifact RNG in this game is a lot more forgiving than other gacha games, trust me. The issue you address exists since the day of genshin's release, and mihoyo already implemented a "fix" to it: raised resin cap from 120 to 160… yeah well we asked for more resin for farming but… at this point there's just no more point complaining about it.

  5. Improving flat attack might improve artifact grinding but it won't change much for a lot of people. If you are trying to get a good ER% Sands Piece you're really only looking for Crit Rate and Crit Dmg.

    If you were to compare ER sands where one was Crit DMG+Rate, ATK% and EM vs another that was Crit DMG+Rate, Flat ATK and EM. Technically the 1st one is better but you only really like it for the crit. If the piece only rolls ATK% every single time that's still a piece you're not going to want to use. It would be better than rolling Flat ATK but it would still only be something you would keep for a little bit while you grind for another that you can roll Crit.

    So even if Flat attack is equal to ATK% it still won't change much in the general substat grind as neither are highly wanted. If you don't roll Crit enough you grind more. You can see this for Feathers where the mainstat is always Flat ATK and if you don't get good rolls on Crit DMG+Rate the grind continues.

  6. A flat stat buff would be nice but tbh the flat stats isn't so much the issue since every stat is useful to a character (Future character included) To me the issue is more. There isn't any safety nets while grinding.

    A good change would be adding a system to the game that let's us change a substat. Letting us Re-Roll one bad stat to one we want. We'd still have to grind for main stats but this way the grind gets cut down since you could settle for almost perfect artifacts and "fix" them to be perfect. This system would be the Safety Net. Getting to choose what Set drops would be nice to tho.

  7. Maybe after the game's banner sales suffers even lower than Albedo's banner sale, maybe after that would they bother mixing things up. Or maybe it'll be worst. I still wonder if some of their employees are underpayed or something since MANY things are just left unfixed

Honestly It would be so much better if they did substats like in AFK arena in this case they would be fixed depending on the main stat for example an atk% main stat would have crit rate%, crit damage%, energy recharge% and Em or an Hp% main stat would have Hp%, Def%, energy recharge% and crit%

    There's enough RNG when it comes to farming artifacts. Just to put things in perspective atm you first have to get the artifact you want from the 2 available in the domain, then it has to be the right type (goblet, sands, flower, feather, mask) and then it has the be the right main stat and there's like 5 for each and finally you have to have the right substats and there's like 12 !!!! that's way too much.

  9. Oh god place don’t add more substats- it’s already hard enough getting good ones- but I think just removing flat stuff would be the best option but hey I’m not the game designers. But people aren’t gonna quit if they made it easier to get good artifacts they’d move on to building more characters and trying new things. Quitting over frustrating artifacts seems more of a problem

I feel like the problem with flat stats is that they don't interact with the % stats, the only way of flat stats being worth is if they scale so much and have numbers so big that you get a free weapon stat on 2 artifacts, the easier way to make the flat stats good is to at least make a small percentage of the stat turn into base stats so they scale with the % ones

  11. Artifacts are bad to make you spend more money on resin, it's that simple. Until people stop spending it's not going to change even though it definitely should change and is killing the game.

Here's the thing: whenever I want to pull on a new character, there's always that thought in the back of my mind that reminds that I have to grind weeks if not months to get DECENT artifact pieces for said new character, which makes me not wanna pull at all. I seriously don't understand mihoyo's logic that if players get good artifact pieces, they'll quit the game. From my perspective, if the artifact system wasn't dogshit, I'd be more inclined to keep grinding to try out different builds on characters and actually keep playing to build up characters I've never used before. It's baffling to me how much mihoyo wants to fuck players in their asses with how terrible the artifact system is.

    As for artifact system improvements:
    – Re-roll main stat and substats.
    – Be able to choose which set we want to grind for, and maybe choose which pieces we want to grind for as well.
    – Limit elemental damage bonus main stat to sets that correspond with that element (e.g. pyro damage bonus can only roll on pyro related sets), and that corresponds with my previous point about being able to choose which piece we want to grind for (constantly grind goblet for pyro set until you get pyro damage bonus).
    – Data has shown that mihoyo has purposefully skewed artifact main stat and substat distribution to favor HP and DEF, so yeah fix that too.
    – IMO, I'd rather they just remove flat substats entirely. Getting double flat HP and DEF on substats is fucking depressing.
    – Lock one substat to prevent it from being upgraded.

    And obviously the root of the problem is how shit resin is so something should be done about that too.

  13. i hope they will cut the resin cause let the player grind so they can complete there on set for ewch individual character specially we got a lot chracter and give us a free character every 6 months 4stars thats better

  14. No disrespect but I don't think that you even begin to understand the issue. Farming for artifacts is a boring repetitive chore filled with annoyance with 99% disappointment at its end, and it won't stop being that by buffing flat stats. Artifact domains are boring. The whole stats system as it serves the current roster of characters is completely skewed towards very particular stats that render the rest trash (your point). Getting an artifact set which you don't want is disappointing. Getting ridiculously unusable main stat on a piece is a waste of your time (healing buff on a phys set anyone?). Artifact inventory is bad. Enhancing artifacts is made in a tedious and time consuming manner. The RNG is a constant source of disappointment at the end of a tedious, almost daily grind, and the payoff when you finally do get that one decent artifact is brief because the overall advancement feels insignificant as you go back in the domain to continue the grind. In short arm-chair flat-stat balancing isn't solving the issue.

  15. It shouldn't take 2 months on average to finish completing a character build. This is an artificial way on mihoyo's part to compensate for having little to no endgame.
    Sorry but some of use want more than story and exploration.
    It's just disappointing to put so much time and effort into our characters and only have spiral abyss as endgame.

  16. First of all substats shold have equal chances of rolling. Secondly they should just remove flat DEF, flat ATK and flat HP because you don't want it on literally any character, even those scaling with DEF or HP (which aren't many in the beginning). I think adding more subs is a terrible idea because it would make artifacts griding even more painful
