Is there anything Twitter hasn't been offended by yet..?
man istg if genshin banned all players from twitter it would be heaven foe the commmunity overall especially the melodramatic ones
Honestly nobody listens to genshin twitter cops theyre hanging on by a thread cause nobody cares anymore
As someone who has an uncommon name in the USA, yes. People making fun of names isn’t anything new. This is an instance of name=funny and people have been doing it to everyone in the history of the world. It’s not exclusive to a singular race/minorities; everyone gets made fun of equally if they have a name deemed funny by everyone else
The guys over on Twitter need to eat a Snickers and chill tf out. Maybe spend some time Gaming to get their minds off it
Ga Ming or Gaming it's a cool and funny name at the same time
These twitter genshin fans must be the main character of their world for them to be this offended
Im Asian and this is funny as hell, yes its pronounced in Cantonese not Chinese. gah-ming. A character called gaming is funny as hell tho, none of my friends are offended by the name
Western audience really hates puns huh
fumble? nah that's sss-tier marketing, have y'all seen fucking, VERITUS RATIO PHD????
Oh my god just stop
Gaming
A hyphen would have fixed everything
Welp i like them already getting twitter people mad is a win! win! win!
Offended at the name "Twitter" …. past tense, YOU TWAT !
what now bro genshin twitter ALWAYS got sum to bitch about 😭😭
I can’t wait to be a Gayming main
i'm a native speaker of cantonese myself and when i opened insta and saw his drip marketing my first reaction was deadass "gaming lol haha hoyo u silly", it has truly been an experience to once again see people getting mad over the representation of a culture they are not a part of, fun times, twitter
I am Chinese and I had originally thought that it said ‘Gaming’. I also made fun of his name until I learned what it actually was. This was more of the company’s fault rather than the people who saw it. I don’t really find their comments racist because why wouldn’t they be confused especially if they don’t know Chinese.
gosh i get such 2nd hand embarrassment whenever i see these snowflakes on twitter ruining the funnies😟
I think that character will teach us how to play genshin lol.
this is not racist but even if it was it would still be funny
racist jokes are funny, change my mind
I was hoping his name was a joke and not on purpose cuz naming a character after a hobby seems as weird as people getting offended over a weird name choice. I hope we get an official pronunciation of this poor boy’s name.
Ayatoes, who? Tao , razorblade, child, rizzley, collei flower, kayak like many others get their names made fun off they gotta realise it’s 2d pixels
What is this? Hyperdimention neptunia?
Thanks im sticking with honkai
After Genshidders got offended over Eula's family, I've never since touched the Genshin Fandom. So I'm not shocked they're still this way.
Bro I'm gonna be honest I love his name, I dont care if its pronounced correctly or incorrectly I still wanna main him he looks so flippin cool :O
4 star or not that boy is gonna empty all of my primos 😢
He's such a meme but such a cool character its all I ever want in genshin
I hereby declare myself a gaming main!
The other cloud adeptus character is cool too but I'm not gonna have the primos for that ;-;
Cant wait until the bestest boy Gaming releases 😀
Also regarding the memes
Bro can be cute and a meme at the same time, Its just memeing no one is directly hating on him for having the name Gaming if anything its cool but ridiculously easy to meme ^^
… is it so much to ask people not to butcher your language? no one called the character offensive, the reaction was to how other people spelt his name.
also interesting how you retort by mentioning "chinese people don't care" then proceed to scold a chinese person for how they feel about the pronounciation of the name…
