Community built dungeons, just like sereniteapot but for dungeons. You can create high level dungeons, design the level, place the mobs and other people could try to beat it.
If MHY is generous we can farm Mora and XP in there too.
i think they should take notes from the souls game.
souls games were hard but the more you play the game the more you will learn how to deal with certain opponents thus making the game easier as time goes on.
personally, I like the learning aspect of games that rewards your time and efforts to learn and play the game rather then same opponents but with increased hp.
Definitely need more difficulty in non-spiral Abyss content, especially events + the respective tiered rewards.
Like, primogem rewards are in bronze medals, why would people even care to do more than that then?
It makes event gameplay alot less engaging and meaningful if people just do the bare minimum and exit.
They should at least raise the World lvl, everything dies so quick at AR59😂
I'd like both more difficult content and more things to do without a resin on a weekly or so basis 😀 I'm AR 57, and while I have some exploration/story content left to clear, the game is pretty much starting to feel stale to me. I'm all for adding some battle focused events into the base game; the one that interests me in particular is Labyrinth Warriors where you had a rogue-like mode. I only joined last year so I didn't participate, but I'd absolutely love to try that out. I think it would be particularly fun with friends in coop.
I also believe that the reward system should be reworked to give the player more sense of progression. At this point bosses are just daunting to fight because the reward doesn't seem to be worth it: character mats don't matter once you've built everyone you wanted, and something like a weapon billet is a rather rare drop. Not to mention that at high AR, building characters is only really useful for the Abyss, which doesn't give you all that much as well tbh. Perhaps with more permanent content and a rework of rewards (like TCG challenges giving you primos, events built into the base-game giving fragile resin, some stage of Abyss giving a universal constellation for a 4* characters etc) it would actually become more motivating and exciting to play the game and log in daily.

The thing is that the enemies we fight most of the time in domains and the abyss are focused in a single element and if there are different elements the enemies are low tier enemies easily to be dealt with. Other encounters where players might be vaporized, overloaded or frozen have counter play by using crowd control or the enemies have elemental shields to swirl each other with.
The consecrated beasts combo in the abyss is one of the few times we have enemies that can consistently do elemental reactions to you and cannot be dealt with ease. I do like the Viridescent Venerer domain because if you don't bring crow control you may actually take some damage. Same goes with the Desert Pavilion domain where you can get constantly frozen.
I think a portion of the players may find these challenges more annoying than fun because they just want to get the rewards quickly and the fun of the combat is applying elemental reactions rather that dodging and normal attacking mechanics. If Genshin had ascension passives that activated when you dodged an attack or elemental skills/bursts that could be activated in the air (and behaved differently) then fighting the consecrated beast may be fun because each dodge is an opportunity for you passive skill to do something and players would be more eager for these encounters.
Even though I was weak at the time when it was released, the hypostasis event is my favorite combat event in genshin, because it looks and plays similar to contigency contract in arknights, a beloved, yet at the same time, despised event because of how difficult and enjoyable it is. You can imagine my disappointment when they rerun the hypostasis event with significantly nerfed difficulty.
it's not that desired, if you take a vote poll many people especially in china do not want that.
im betting they are reserving difficulty for later regions. The least they could do is world level up and more interesting ascension upgrades.
Okay, I am running a full geo team, free to play only, only playing on ocassion, havent played regualrly in a year minimum.
My main DPS is Noelle, sub DPS itto, Zhongli and not even C4 Gorou. I don't grind often. I have been crushing most content since Itto came out. This game doesn't get harder, the worst that has happened to me is just some long fights coz i dont wanna waste my ult.
Genshin need rival
Frankly, to be perfectly honest, Abyss became boring for me. It's not easy, the difficulty is fine for me.
The problem is that it feels like I'm doing the same thing over and over for 2 years. The buffs you pick are boring and you mostly just pick the same ones, unless they aren't there and you just pick whatever because they don't make a difference. And lastly, and this is a personal thing, I don't enjoy time attack gameplay. If I have to do it, at least don't make me do it 12 times over and over.
I don't even do Abyss anymore. I don't care about the gems. It takes too long and I don't have fun doing it. I'd prefer doing the world bosses in a harder difficulty or most of the events.
they really need to raise the World Level, everything died easily even before you finish your full rotation, that make all the food buff system useless, because the overworld where u can use it don't need it, while the abyss that really grindy, don't allow food
My only gripe about Genshin is that there's no pvp. I think adding a special arena area where you can pvp would be cool.
Genshin will never be difficult because it's made for babies kids and nerd dork beta male simp manginas that can't compete and prefer thirsting over waifus in a virtual world instead of try to get with a real actual woman.
Please no, hoyo will misinterpret and add enemies that will hide underground for an hour… the problem is hoyo.

the reason why people complain about bounties is because they don't give u primogems or something special.

we need like a survival mode where u must have a constant healer in team in order to stay alive for enough waves unless you dodge like a real korean faker.
but at the same time the content need to also have a speedrun timer on some arena objective or "side quest"
so using a shield or healing have the penality of reducing your dps performance. making you lose score overall or something in trade for "comfortness"
is hard to balance. shields and healings broke the game. but is possible to have different score metrics running at the same time that determine your final score
also would be great that u forced to used more than two teams, so like that event that every istance u can't use again the same character is a good start
also even if you heal or shield taking damage can still lower your score or something so you must be like a professional resident evil to get SSS+ or something

But the reality is that mihoyo don't care on brainstorming something that complex, they want you to log in for 5 minute like a gacha and log out.
and this imho this mentality is ultimately the sad limit of what genshin impact could have been.
game will get boring without a new permanent mode in a few years..
maybe one day we will have an amazing soft mmorpg that is kinda like genshin when it comes to soundtrack and visual design art

The lack of combat based end-game and more combat-based events along with the dps-check in abyss with bosses that go underground every 5 seconds is really hurting this game with such great combat mechanics , great video , you earned a sub!

The problem with abyss isn’t how often it resets or needing more floors. The problem with abyss is it is not a fun activity. The only reason I’m fine with it right now is it’s a chore I do twice a month. Genshin needs more engaging fights with more complex mechanics, reasons to play with friends, and for me being able to co-op abyss and raise world level would be pretty damn fun. I’m one of those c6 r5 whales 🐳 and I have noticed that even ftp players are finding the open world a joke and most things not engaging after about 6 months of play. I learned my lesson with genshin for when I play other HoYoVerse games……the “endgame” is just another source of pulls and not any progression tied to it. So no need to whale out and no reason to expect more. Right now I’m hoping wuthering waves has a good ftp and whale experience with a real endgame, but maybe all gachas suffer from an endgame that is just a way to farm more pulls. 😅
