I genuinely want an antagonistic archon that would be so interesting. Ei kind of was, but it was revealed that the bad things she was doing was a mix of poor choices and ignorance yet genuine desire to actually do right by her people. So while she was an antagonist, she's not a bad person.
Im talking about an archon that's actually bad, maybe even evil for real if they push it, a corrupt archon (not in the magical sense). It would make for an interesting story considering the archons up until this point have all been allies to the traveler

I've just made up a story where the previous hydro archon and Focalors (current hydro archon) were sisters. Focalors' sister was in the center of the attention by everyone else, which basically means she was more loved and appreciated than Focalors herself. Of course, this made Focalors become extremely jealous of her. However, the situation got more worse when Focalors' sister was picked to be the next hydro archon. Focalors was filled with complete rage and envy. Then, Focalors planned to kill her sister. One night, she tried to trick her by taking her to a place filled wity many lovely and eye-catching flowers. Focalors' sister was distracted picking flowers, which mafe Focalors have the adventage to strike her and kill her instantly, and she succedeed in murdering her.
The next morning, Focalors' sister may have been found killed or went missing, idk you guys decide. Soon after, Focalors became the hydro archon, as she continues to wear a masquerade of perfection to cover her sins.
Gotta make sure we have Kuki and Yanfeis numbers for our one phone call.
